Who has won 2008 holiday line up?

With all the good games coming out this holiday season who has won it in your opinion??

Both PS3 and Xbox 360 are looking pretty good.

I cant choose between 360 and ps3.

LBP = Banjo

Gears = Resistance

or atleast how much i want to play them, and the both have the multiplats like mirrors edge and dead space that im super excited for

Um $199 system with all the great multiplates ie Fallout 3, Rockband 2, GH:WT, COD5. Great exclusives GeoW 2, Fable 2, and Halo 3 will probably sell well if people are buying 360's to see what the hype is about espeacially with Halo 3 recon coming. Its kinda a no brainer, but it will probably finish 2nd to the family friendly Wii, but both Wii and 360 will destroy PS3 this holiday.

Eh, they've both got their own appeals to certain people. I'm actually picking up 2 exclusives each for PS3/360/Wii, so they'll be getting quite a bit of attention. If anything, I think the DS has won my holiday lineup (Luminous Arc 2, Castlevania: OoE, Sonic Chronicles if it gets more decent reviews, potentially Chrono Trigger, and then stuff like Kirby Super Star Ultra that was released late Sept)

Oh, and for those wondering about the Wii's line-up: Tales of Symphonia 2 looks awesome, Deadly Creatures looks quite appealing to me, and Mushroom Men is up in the air (again, for me)

equal . . . but for me personally ps3 is ahead a little because i get to play bioshock as well (unless its identical to the demo, in which case i will wait til its cheap, dam 2K).

Does the Wii even have a holiday line up? I hope so cause SSBB got boring fast and im almost done replaying NMH (my fav wii game). And idk most of the best games this holiday are multiplat and the few exclusives don't look too great... imo gears 2 looks like gears, R:FoM was dissapointing so idk if R2 will be all that great, and LBP looks good but im not exactly the creative type so idk if its my kind of game. I'm just happy I can enjoy Fallout 3, Dead Space, PoP, and all the other multiplats this year.CyberRuler

its got animal crossing and i think madworld , little kings story, and conduit are 09 so i know of nothing really good coming this year

I would say yes. I guess we will see if PS has any surprises at TGS... But as far as I know for this year the line up is done pretty much. TGS will imo be mostly early 09 games for PS3. I am interested to see whats going to be announced though,,,

I'd say the PS3 and the 360 won. Actually, the gamers won because now we have great games coming out on all our systems, those that actually have them all I mean.

Basically the PS3 and 360 are tied. Both have some really nice games for the holidays. But the Wii is a big fat loser this holiday...and then some.

isn't the Last Remnant and left 4 dead coming out this holiday..besides, Tales of Vesperia and others I say the 360 wins by a landslide...besides, Resistance 2 doesn't even compare to gears 2...

Well if nintendo doesn't pull something good out of the hat next gen they could be in big trouble. I think they sold so much hardware because it was cheaper and the new controler was interesting enough to give it a shot. But now that the interesting part wore off now they have a goofy controler with limited hardcore games for the hardcore gamers. They better do more than trying to put a "smile" on peoples faces lol.... They have no software and what the hardware puts out is disappointing in the first place.

For me the Wii was at a big fail from it's begining...

The icing on the cake is that they come out within a week of each other. Yum. :D

the multiplat games are looking like the best this xmas. ps3/x360 excluses don't look nearly as good as games like fallout3 and facry 2.

sure gears 2 will be a good game but it wont be the amazing new experence that the first one was

well the greatest game this gen (gears 2) is on 360 so i vote for 360, if 360 idnt have gears 2 then ps3 lineup wud kill 360's lineup, but gears 2 saved 360mingo123

well this is a stupid question people have different taste in games and most games that are coming out this year that iam interested in are coming out on the PS3 most are Multi and some are exclusive same goes for x360 owner or PC owner etc

most games people are looking for are multi plat games

teh GAMERS. duh.

in a situation where I am a ps3 gamer, but i enjoy geow2 than whatever i have in my ps3, then the ps3 gamer lost.

same for a 360 gamer, but he/she enjoys LBP more than whatever i have with my 360, then the 360 gamer lost.

preferences people, it's really not all about whoever has the better console, but it actually boils down to which console has the exclusives you prefer to play.
