Who else thinks BioShock 2 will be a huge flop? I know I do.

I don't like to watch the beginning of games, especially after how awesome the first was, but I seriously needed some convincing with this one. I heard it's not quite on par with the opening of the original, so I didn't feel too dirty. And boy, they were right.

You're not missing much if you don't watch it. A crappy beginning and a game that feels like a bad version of the prior game. It just seems so... meh.

That just looks like a tension builder tbh. It cannot in anyway define if it will be a flop or not. It might not lack the "wow" factor that the first one had in terms of beginning.

That was the selling point of Bioshock 1, the incredible feel for Rapture, Bioshock 2 lacks that fresh feeling, but it can definitely deliver if they put in a good plot.

It seems like they put a lot of emphasis on online play (judging by the trophies allocated to online play) and this worries me. I don't want really want the devs taking time to work on online multiplayer when they could be using the time to make an amazing single player game. I just don't think BioShock 2 will be on par with the first one. Same thing happened with Uncharted 2, in my opinion. I had high hopes for Uncharted 2 but it just didn't give me the enjoyment that the first Uncharted did. chathuranga

Hmm I haven't checked out anything that has to do with the second BS title (Since the old GI mag with it on the front cover). So honestly I do not know what to expect from the title.

Fully and completely expected. BioShock was only successful because of hype. I apologize to everyone out there for my lack of judgment.

Give me a carbon copy of the first game with new levels and I will still love it to death. I love Rapture, I want to go back.
