Which 'Halo' soundtrack is your favorite?

Tough one. Halo 2 had some great tracks. Halo 1 was bombastic from time to time.

But Halo 3 has so many awesome songs, I'll go with it.

Halo 3>2 >1 > odst > reach

Halo CE started it all so gotta go with it.

Goddamn it... I have to choose Halo 3.

ODST is so fucking close, it really is...it is really hard to choose between the two, but I am choosing Halo 3's soundtrack. To me, it wins by a very narrow margin. It's such a powerful OST.

Halo CE but Halo 3 is close.

My personal favourite is Brothers in arms from Halo CE:

Halo 3

Halo 2. It had an edge to it. It had great guitar licks. Overall it felt more rounded. The original is great too.

Halo 4, as well. I know, different composter, but over time Marty odonnel just didn't seem as into it, imo. Everything about Halo 4 feels very inspired. To Galaxy, 117, Arrival, etc.........great direction on that game.

Halo 2 blew me away AND I NEVER even played 2 back in the day so NO NOSTALGIA

Marty O'Donnell has always delivered. But gotta go with Halo 3.

Still...I've gotta give some acknowledgement to 'The Menagerie'....

Halo 2 for me. So any amazing songs. The menu music is engraved in my mind after playing the multiplayer non-stop for years

I just finished Halo 2 on the MCC. That campaign is so fucking epic. The music kicks in at all the right times when you know it is time to kick ass. Since it is the complete package I go with 2.

I'm more partial to "Deference For Darkness" in that game.

Halo CE - It did everything the best.

ODST by far.

I feel like the ODST soundtrack doesn't get enough appreciation for what it is. It's so very different from all the other Halo soundtracks, and those jazz elements are superbly atmospheric.....

Halo 4

Halo 2 has too much crap from Incubus and Breaking Benjamin which are dumb and feel completely out of place.

Halo 2. Incredible and very diverse soundtrack.

I'm almost shocked Halo 3 is doing so well on the poll, but that was the most popular Halo game so a lot of people are probably going to default to that just because it's their favorite Halo game. Personally, I'd say it's the weakest out of the choices. It's just a rescored version of the Halo 1 and 2 soundtracks, they did a great job but none of it was actually new.
