which games from last gen still make you go "wow"?

One of the big ones for me is the wind waker, I played this game for the first time this year and can't even imagine how amazing it would have looked back in 2003. just beautiful :o

Definitely agreed about Wind Waker. And Doom 3's Cyberdemon still makes me say "wow." One of the best-looking bosses ever if you ask me. Too bad they had to throw in the damn Soul Cube..-Tretiak

but I only played the xbox version which looks pretty horrible IMO.

Yeah, I was talking about the PC version. And not even the whole game. Just the Cyberdemon model.:P

WW really did have some breath taking visuals. I also LOVED storms in this game, though the pic I chose for it doesn't do a good job showing it. :(

Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders.

Talk about an epic game of nothing but pure chaos during online battles. KUF really crapped on every RTS ever made, totally revolutionary in my opinion.

Indeed. I never had a GC, but my friend did, and I played it more than he did. Windwaker, RE4, MP, the works.

ooh, yep thats a good one too. while IMO, the weak art direction held this game back, its technical graphics were second to none on the xbox.

the whole metroid prime seris is graficly brilliant. but 1 was groundbreacking, so 1.

best looking game on the ps2 by far.

I can't beleive how hard it is to find a nice screenshot of the metroid prime games. they're gorgeous but you wouldn't know it from looking at pictures thats for sure :? this one looks alright

i haven't played paper mario 2 (never had a cube) but i think I'll buy it soon for my wii. i loved the first on the VC.

That it did and the destructible enviroments made gunplay so much better. I can't wait for Black 2.

Alot of people may disagree but Mario Kart Double Dash does it for me, it has great visuals and gameplay thats just constantly fun.

I had it from launch and its still awesome.

yeah conker was amazing too, but sloppy in some parts. you could tell it was an upgraded port.
