and Pokemon is a Handheld Franchise AKA. DS and Gameboy (mostly DS for this GEN).

I never have, never will be a platformer fan. But I'll be damned if Little Big Planet isn't the most unique thing since forever in the platforming world. That's the last title I'd classify as overrated.

Overall for me, the Wii. I just don't find any Mario, Zelda, etc. game appealing, even after playing them at other people's houses.

Halo, good shooter. But highly overrated.

Resistance is overrated, but I definitely had some fun with the 2nd one's multiplayer.

i dunno about overrated but the ps3 definitely has the most overhyped library ever

i think every single exclusive since the console was launched has been hyped like crazy

I don't like the word overrated, but just to play along, I think they all have their overrated franchises.

I'll just say that Resistance is incredibly overrated. It's extremely vanilla. I believe the first one simply got its acclaim because there wasn't much on the PS3 at that time. I imagine that Resistance: FoM would be quickly forgotten if released after Killzone 2 which was superior in just about every way.

However, this doesn't mean I'm saying anything about the other PS3 franchises.

graphically the Resistance series is horrible

but i always found Fall of Man fun just because of insomniac's weapon creativity, the guns in that game pretty much make the game

that said if you put those guns in another fps it would make Fall of Man a waste of time, but it was still fun at the time and i kept it just because there's still a few people that play it online (also FoM is still one of the few ps3 exclusives with splitscreen campaign co-op as sad as that is)

How am I not being fair? I didn't say it was a piece of crap. It's not a bad game. I just said it lacked distinctiveness and that brought the experience down.

Sony's Grand Turismo is waaay overrated to me, then again it might never out. I also don't see the appeal to soon to be franchise Infamous (oh the repeativness).
