Halo 3 ODST was a modified version of the Halo 3 engine, which in turn was just a modified version of the Halo 2 engine. So no, probably not talking about ODST.

If anything, they were probably talking about Reach, since that is one of the few games this gen which will use an engine built from the ground up for the X360. But that's not out until next year.

I remember reading a comment by MS to that effect, but first off, it was probably just PR talk, and second, I don't recall the guy explicitly saying "this fall." If memory serves he said something like "We have games in the works that will look better graphically."

It wasn't in the Fall, it was in in the Future. You could count ODST, but Microsoft doesn't for obvious reasons.

Imagination Land? I remember a thread on it but it was a while back. Maybe they were thinking Alan Wait or Splinter cell which in my opinion doesn't match KZ2. Maybe Reach could blow the doors off KZ2 with the new engine.That would send Bungie out with a bang (if it's their last Halo)

the only team i can see making an exclusive for microsoft and being able to craft an awesome game graphically is bungie. maybe halo reach will show that off, if not them i can't see anyone else delivering for the 360. rare also have the skills, but i don't know what they are working on so i guess we'll have to wait to see what they pull out.Mckenna1845

This. I called BS on thatarticle months ago. It originally came from a site based out of India IICR.MS is usually seen and heard (look @ Grenberg's recent comment about outselling PS3 for entire generation) when they make bold claims but no one is attributed to this quote.
