What's your favourite new ND woman character this gen?

Are we intentionally avoiding Lev to not side rail the discussion as to what “woman” should mean?

I wanted to focus on women with a good deal of 'screen time' if you will. Lev could've been included, but I'm trying to focus on the main ones here.

And yes, I do feel this is a 'gun to your head' kind of poll. None of these really stick out to me as worthwhile additions. Maybe Abby... I guess.

Chloe getting her own game also worth a shoutout but since she is not in the list I will have to vote for her partner Nadine.

Nadine, hands down. I hated her in 4, but got to know her well in LL.

A place to reflect back on the current gen, and look into if ND managed to introduce any women characters on the same line as Ellie, Elena or Chloe.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing a different side of her in the standalone LL.

Yea, not really a fan of Jim Sterling tbh, a lot of his videos are basic "no shit dumbass" where he's just piggybacking rage.

Even before he was doing all this shit never really liked him, his reviewers were just desperate attention seeking.

Saying that he does annoy the **** out of publishers so I guess it's good to have him around even if he does fit in that category of low hanging fruit.

Dunno, I really like his stuff and the moments where he's really funny is some of my favourite British humor. Love the surprise mechanic and his take on Saw.

He really hits the nail on the head a lot of times too, with Konami being crap and Ubisoft being... crap as well.

Didn't like Nadine as much as Chloe or Elena, who were created by a better writer than Druckman, and not interested in playing TLOU2. Found the first one mediocre and the characters of the second unappealing as an observer.

Druckman introduced Sam and Nadine in UC4 and I'm honestly not that fond of both.

Sam is really good at doing nothing but witty banter, but he reminds me so much of a try hard Ellie. Ellie was fun and likable and Sam tries just so much to be like her...

It's not that I hate either, these new characters just fail to leave the same impression on me as the old ones.

I'd say Abby with Nadine a close second. Dina didn't do much but be a burden for half the game.

Dina, I guess. I've got a thing for pretty faces with large strong-looking noses.

Not familiar enough with any of those characters to take it beyond appearances, however, so don't listen to me.

Abby looks ugly, but Laura Bailey voice acting saved the day.

They're all meh. I prefer my psycho lesbian Ellie. In other words, i don't like any new characters. Joel and Tommy are the real deal.

It had a Nazi who cut his gums out because they were from a black person, the Asian dentist trolled him, then he got aids.

But that had a shit ton of gay characters and men forced forced to dress up as woman. Lot's of bum sex and men walking around with their dongs hanging out. No one called that propaganda. They just accepted the characters were part of a fucked up system requiring extremes.

That was like, 25 years ago? And the mere sight or even implication of that shit in a modern game causes people to have big baby breakdowns.

Also Luke Perry was alive in a wall and came back as angel to tell a Biker to kill a gay ginger guy who was Satan, or some shit.

Better than LOU2, to be sure.
