one of those metal of honor games on the PS2 (can't remember which one) . It doesn't have an intro, it just starts. No menu, no options screen, no nothing. It just goes straight from the EA logo into the game. I thought that was a nice surprise.

my favorite intro to a game was bomerman for the dreamcast. i loved how he was dressed up as goku and shooting kamama's but with bombs instead of energy. it was worth reseting the game to watch it again. on a sidenote it was the only thing good about that bomerman game.
I would actually have to say COD4 (if only because it is fresh in my mind). They way the game start out on the boat with you're team almost drowning as the boat hit with a missile. Then having to run to safety and almost barely jumping onto the back of the helicopter to safety. Then the credits roll and you watch first person of someone being abducted, tossed into the back seat of a car as you drive down the streets of a city being destroyed byterrorists only to get grabbed again, kicked in the head, tied to a post and in one of the best slow motion cinema scenes in a video game as the terrorist walks right up to you're face and shoots you in the head and everything goes black.... Then the game starts, Just awesome.
Brothers In Arms: Road to Hill 30 is easily the best. The game opens up guns blazin while all of your squadmates are getting shot/blown up by tanks. I remember playing it and was just "Wow" afterwards.

yeah, it was kind of sad. the entire game is. i thought when the 2 really good friends who were always with each died together, was pretty sad. damn krouts...

i love the music to the intro of MGS. i liked the plant chapter intro to MGS2, gets you pumped to go kick @$$.i didnt like 3's intro that much, kind of boring.
