What next-gen system will you buy first?

Sony fans will buy the PS4 even if it is factually worse than the 720. Apparently they care more about  Sony than themselves.

That's stretching a bit.

Maybe part of the reason is because the PS platforms have almost usually delivered in both 1st Party and 3rd party games and have an excellent relationship with 3rd party developers/publishers. Rabid fanboys may say otherwise, but the truth is, Sony has almost always delivered. They may have lost and gain over the years, particularly in generation 7. But it's undeniable, they've been consistant in deliverying/pushing what they've always been good at: GAMES of many varieties and genres. 

I see this continuing (and further improving) with the PS4.

And to answer the topic question, I'll wait after E3 2013. But all signs seem to point towards PS4.

Xbox has fewer games worth buying, so every xbox owner buys the same 3-5 games. On PS3, the sales are divided between 10-20+ games.

Giving microsofts record with faulty hardware only a cabbage would buy the next xbox in the first few years.

Thats not exactly true, Shooter games like CoD tend to sell better on 360, but most other genres tend to sell better on PS3, most multiplatform games other than shooters sold better on PS3 in 2012

If microsoft focuses most of its first party developers on kinect again, then ps4. Reason why I sold my 360 over 6 months ago was because I can play 3rd party games on pc with better resolution and fps. And kinect is infant, I expect kinect 3.0 to be great, not 2.0.

Playstation 4. day 1!

Might have to wait a few years to see if the nextbox hardware survives RROD. PS4 Day 1.

Probably Playstation 4, I need to see more from Microsoft before I make my decision on them.

Assuming the are out at the same time PS4, even if its just a few months difference then I'll probably go initially with whichever one releases first.

EDIT unless MS really s***s the bed with its new console which if half the rumours are true they might.

As of right now Xbox 3. That is if MS has a traditional controller and allows used games. Too much to ask for backwards support probably. If MS doesn't have one of these I will probably go PS4, or maybe just PC. We'll see, I will be playing some next gen title by the end of the year though.

If I had to pick one right now with a gun to my head... PS4.
