What feels better in your hand a 3DS or WiiU gamepad?

3DS. There's no good place to place my other three fingers on the Wii U gamepad and it annoys me immensely.

both look like they still feel like this.

WiiU, due to it having dual analog, and better screen resolution. Besides that, they both serve as a map/inventory system.

The 3DS is not an ergonomic device. Even the cashier ringing mine up complained about the horrid things it did to his hands. Mine begin to cramp up just looking at it.

i had to buy a grip to make my 3ds more comfortable.

WiiU for me. I got an OG 3ds though so I'm not sure how the bigger ones are like. I'm pretty tall and my hands are bigger so the 3ds is slightly uncomfortable over time compared to the game pad.

Wii U gamepad at least has those hills on the back to make it fit the human hand. To use the 3DS comfortably, you have to submit to the Borg.

No they should have updated the cube controller, aka still the best ergonomics of any controller.

But yeah the Wii U pro is far better than the gamepad at least. Best thing about it is the battery life, damn it lasts a long time. While the gamepad... lol

The "New 3DS" feels a lot better than the WiiU gamepad.

PS4 dual shock actually. The best current gen 8 controller available.

Surprisingly, the New 3ds XL feels much better in the hands than the old 3ds XL. I finally got to test it out the other day. (still non in stock yet).

plz vote for 3DS if you think any version including the new 3dsxl feels better than it. WiiU is currently clobbering it in the poll maybe people like the bigger screen and the fancier technology and the huge gaming library of games

## Unfortunately the Wii-U gamepad does, I wish the new 3DS did then I would probably have one by now, but it irritates and cramps my thumbs after an hour or more of play, and my old 3DS XL grip doesn't fit the new 3DS XL so I can't use it.

The WiiU pro controller is a significantly better controller.

The Wii U pad feels great, but so does the 3DS XL. If we're talking only about the OG 3Ds, than theres no contest. It hurts my hands.

The 3DS isn't unformfortable, but isn't comfortable either, but it works all right in most cases, though I'm not a fan of the analog design, it's a shame they couldn't improve on it with the New 3DS design. I'm not a fan of the start/home/select buttons on the original 3DS XL design, though that does seem improved on the New 3DS design.

The Wii U feels better in my hands, but the 3DS XL gets more play from me due to the library, and I take it everywhere with me.

They're all Nintendo products, and clearly I don't like the Wii U gamepad. Try to follow along here and use some sense.

I'm not saying it's stil the best controller ever because it lacks buttons, d-pad is shit, the c-stick sucks, and the buttons are not the best layout. But, it's still the only gamepad that almost melts in my hands. From the grips to where your fingers lay on the triggers. That's why I used the word update.

Most definitely agree bro. I NEVER liked the Cubes controller. It's serviceable and that's about it. It was the only time I ever wanted to buy a controller adapter for a Nintendo console, I would have gladly used a DS2 or an Xbox (non-boat) controller instead.

WiiU Pro on the other hand, is fucking boss material.

It's funny too, I always thought that the distaste for the Gamecube controller was common... fuuuuuuck, you go talking shit about it here on SW and you get something like this:

Wii U GamePad easily. The 3DS is like a handheld torture device. The XL is fine, but not as good as the all time handheld comfort king, the DS Phat.

Anyway, i think the Gamecube controller was good, and arguably the best of its generation (PS2 controllers felt cheap and God i hated the Xbox controller) however is far from the best, the D Pad is awful, the Z button feels way too out of place and the Sticks are meh, i don't get the insane love either on this forum, but i wouldn't call it a bad controller either.

But yeah, WiiU Pro Controller > WiiU Tablet > Gamecub controller.

3ds feels absolutely awful in my hands... I refused to sully the Shovel Knight experience with its god awful ergonomics and laughably bad circle pad... I will give it credit in its touch screen though. I've actually become fond of the ds concept, but eff the feel of holding that device it feels horrible.

Wiiu feels ok I guess, better than the nunchuk scheme but that's like saying it feels better than shoving bamboo rods under my fingernails.

Maybe I'm being a touch dramatic :P
