What do you think of the PS4 library overall?

• Bloodborne - It's good. One of the better PS4 games. But I prefer the Souls games. This is the only one I never felt like replaying.
• God of War - Mediocre.
• God of War III Remastered - Liked it. Weakest of the trilogy, but still entertaining.
• Gravity Rush Remastered - Very good. Nice story, very creative gameplay, missions that are seldom tedious.
• Gravity Rush 2 - Mediocre. Lack of urgency and tedious mission design with an overwhelming number of annoying three-dimensional stealth scenarios. It also doesn't have the atmosphere of the original, despite having a much bigger budget. It has lame special abilities that can be activated by the slightest unintentional rub of the touchpad. Just goes to show more money and more stuff doesn't make a better game.
• Horizon Zero Dawn - Good example of the modern open world action-adventure game. The mechanics were fine and the characters were uninteresting. I find it overrated.
• Infamous: Second Son - Have barely explored the city or done anything. Average.
• Infamous: First Light - Average. I didn't dislike it.
• Journey - Average.
• The Last Guardian - The puzzles become so tedious. I got sick of trying to figure out what I was supposed to make this AI do. Waited so long for this, but I never finished it.
• The Last of Us Remastered - It's fine. Like the original, The Last of Us, Part II will be a game I play twice and then have no desire to revisit. The gameplay just isn't that special. Neither is Druckmann's writing. I prefer the early Resident Evil formula. Better level design, interconnected world progression, item management and enemy variety.
• Ratchet & Clank - Playing this right now. I like that this kind of expensive cartoon game is still allowed to exist on PlayStation, just barely. But my interest is sizzling out. There just isn't enough to it after a couple of hours.
• Shadow of the Colossus - Pretty good, but the original is already burned into my brain, so I'm not that motivated to complete it again. But the first playthrough was nice after not playing it for almost a decade.
• Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - It's fine. Uncharted started taking itself too seriously after like the second game. I prefer the pulp adventure aspect of the series over Druckmann's emotional crap.
• Uncharted: The Lost Legacy - It was alright. Wish there was more action, better platforming and the camera wasn't so zoomed in while aiming.
• Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - The first two are still fine. I only beat the third one once on the PS3 and couldn't do it again. It kind of sucks.
• Until Dawn - Pretty nice. I didn't care about these kids at first and was surprised how much I later wanted them to live. That's character development. I've only played it once, but it's in my top three for the platform.

Overall score? I guess a 5/10.

None of the PS4's exclusives appeal to me anymore and I would rather play it's multiplats on Xbox One.

I don't like movie-games or JRPGs so that instantly makes most PS4 exclusives unappealing to me.

I had hoped to enjoy Bloodborne, but when I played it, I was disappointed with it and I too prefer the Souls games over it.

The Shadow of the Colossus remake is good, but I prefer to play the PS2 version because it has a better atmosphere.

In the past, I had enjoyed Rocket League and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on PS4, but those games have since gone multiplat so I now play them on Xbox One instead.

As of right now, I see absolutely no value in the PS4's library for my tastes which is why I sold my PS4 a few months ago.

God of War looks cool but I haven't made it past the credits, Chanel Zero screwed that all up

Ill give it a 9/10 this generation. I enjoyed many of the exclusives this gen from Sony.

Solid 7/8. 7 on the mere breadth of games released, but tidied up to an 8 based upon Sony's 1st party.

Honestly, the only games that pique my interest are Ratchet & Clank and Detroit.

I was a fan of Uncharted on PS3, but I got about halfway through 4 and didn't want to finish it. It was boring.

The console has DS Trilogy, Sekiro, Nioh and my absolute fav game of this gen, Bloodborne. I love these type of game, especially Bloodborne. Still, a 9 out of 10. only a 9 because still no fking Bloodborne 2.

i still like Infamous on PS4. The visuals of the city are better than Spider-Man, and so is the atmosphere.

Killzone Shadowfall is also pretty good shooter, with some epic locations. Totally worth playing thru.

I still drive Driveclub. Fun racer, and looks better than Gran Turismo and Project Cars put together.

Only exclusive that is genuinely rubbish is Order 1860. Looks horrible, plays horrible, just horrible.

To be honest, I thought some of you would give your own opinions about PS4 games. What good is judging the entire library of PS4 games when almost none of us have played it? Don't be silly.

Cannot judge really, although HZD is one of my favourite games of all time, my library consisted of less than half a dozen.

Worthless thread. Why call the thread "PS4's library" if you you're it doesn't include the whole library and it only includes games you played?

Yup, and Wipeout Collection is awesome too especially in VR, and is one of the best racing games I've ever played.

9/10 PS4 including 3rd party games.

4/10 Xbox. So much drought I traded it in a few years back. Wanted more Sunset, Quantum Break, Halo and Gears. Looked forward to Scalebound. Synergy with PC killed it. Much props to MS for putting xbox games on PC though.

10/10 PC. Nostalgia, compatibility cannot be beat.

?/10 Switch. I thought this thing would spawn an MH exclusive and attract more "hunting games", inheriting the "Console quality on the go", finally be a handheld for tons of multi-platform entries. Nope. Might be better off waiting for Switch 2 or GPD Win 5.

Done with mp gaming such as mmorpgs and mobas. Maybe I'll try again a few years but playing the same game for a while with dripfeed content eventually gets to me.

How do Sony justify charging for mp this gen when basically nothing they release has mp? Theres some good games in that list though, and if theres nothing you really like there you need to explain what you are doing playing video games.....you obviously dont like them.

Shocker. Here, I can do it too:

Xbox 1 library....2/10. A couple of racing games and bunch of mediocre games compile the library.

The exclusive library is impressive, but the overal scenario in gaming is insanely good. Considering indies, VR and all the new genres and sub-genres they brought to the equation, this has probably been my favourite generation so far.

? You're not fooling anyone. Still mad your Flopbone is the only system without VR and you can't experience true next gen racing on VR-less Boreza.

Did you all actually read my post? There were PS4 games I liked. But overall, I prefer my Switch and PC.

I'd give it a solid 8/10. Can't deny that Sony have done well with their exclusives this gen, particularly if you like your single player stuff.

@PSP107: Late 80s, not sure the exact year. My favourite generation is still the 16bit gen, but i'm aware that nostalgia factor has alot to do with it.

There was never as much quality and diversity available as there's now. People just have to stop pretending that big AAA companies are all we have available.
