What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I'll be playing Octopath Traveler 2, one of the most under appreciated games of 2023! This game reminds me of a time when RPGs were simpler, but still had depth. The structure is unique in that you can play as different characters at different times in the order that you wish. Also, you don't have to worry about being overpowered as each character starts at level 1 and then there are recommended levels for each new chapter. Also, the graphics and art style are unique and it's great that there is voice acting as well. And music is great too. Overall, really cool game. What about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

AC Mirage. Grabbed a month of Ubi+ for $20. Other than that, wanna do a UHD LotR/Matrix viewing on my new HT setup.

Finishing up my second playthrough of Lies of P on the XSX. I’m amazed at just how excellent this game is. Will start a third playthrough right after. Would like to get some more time in with Starfield as well.

Probably Remnant 2 and something from my backlog.

Still chipping away at hell's minions on my Diablo 2 RR sorc run.

Hopefully I can wrap up my first play through of Starfield, feel like I exhausted the side quests and can now focus exclusively on story content so probably not a whole lot left on my initial playthrough, though I hear it's very geared toward multiple NG+ playthroughs. But it might be a nice time to take a break.

I feel like I'm behind, just from what I want to play from Xbox Game Pass. I still need to break ground on Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Lies of P, and Warhammer 40K Darktide, and the new Forza drops next week too.

And I still want to get Blasphemous 2, just need the time to play. Thankfully the new Robocop game got delayed another couple months, one less thing I wanna play I don't have to worry about in meantime.

@SolidGame_basic: Na, I don't need a Steam Deck or any PC handhelds as I can use the time catching up to old shows and current shows I may not have time to watch such as Ahsoka for example. While I'm on vacation, I can perfectly catch up tv shows/movies which is perfect😉

I might play some Avengers 😅 bought it for 4 bucks and actually like the story so far.

Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut and Life is Strange True Colors. Just made it to last map in GoT so hopefully I can clear it and move to platinum. In LiS I just got to chapter 2. moved slow cause I only play when I just need a game to play for an hour or so to fall asleep.

LotF isn't going anywhere. Don't rush BG3 just because you want to play the other game while it's "fresh" or something.

AC: Brotherhood. Didn't like it on my first playthrough. Better now. Still weirdly designed.

It is perhaps a tad linear/simple but the visuals and the genius concept makes up for it! I’m constnatly thinking: ”how did any human come up with this?”! Really trippy!

The Callistco Protocol, been playing it and something feels off about it. Maybe cause I don't have weapons and just a baton. Really feels like a chore to play though hoping it's better as I get more into the game.

You missed all the reviews, videos, posts, threads, etc. saying it's a chore to play through?

Playing dirt 3 for the first time through backwards compatibility. Fun game so far very similar to dirt 5 which isn't a bad thing.

Castlevania: Circle Of Moons

Bit bland. Music is shit as ****. Really boring backgrounds. Bit easy as well. Basically going to A-B with inconveniences rather than being challenged.

The RPG elements are boring. One or two cool skills, but alot of it is "whip is fire", "whip is now thrown" You now do % more damage. Items are boring as well.

Stick with it, maybe gets mega awesome wowowowowowowowowow oh eeeeeee ahhhhhh, at the end.

Make it through Halo Infinite on Legendary. I'm pretty close. :P

LOTR movies are so amazing, I wish I could watch them for the very first time again.

Why didn't Sauron just put a locked giant steel door at Mordor? He would have won.

Mostly continue my run of Lies of P, I just beat Andreus which was an absolute *nightmare* to beat solo. God damn this game is hard, I wish it was as easy as the Nioh / Wo Long games lol.

Will also continue my new 2.0 / PL run of CP2077.

Maybe get back to Starfield a bit bored of it atm.

Also going to play some Gotham Knights. clearly underrated game IMO.

A lot of Rugby this weekend so probably won't be playing much. But if i get a chance it will be CP2077.

So far i definitely see why some would have been disappointed in it, especially if they were expecting a GTA (I didn't really follow how CDPR were promoting it before it's original launch).

But so far i am enjoying it. It's more Mafia...in the future..in First person and with more RPG elements. Night City, despite not being that interactive, still definitely does have a character about it...a vibe. It's pretty good. I haven't started into the phantom liberty stuff and i don't have a plan for a character build or anything...i'm basically winging it. But yeah, good game so far.

It has, however, exposed a flaw with my PC. It looks like my 10 year old Sata SSD has decided to go a bit blergy. Well there were some other symptoms too but CP2077 basically confirmed it. I'll try a firmware update (hopefully a cheap fix) but if that doesn't work then it will be time to get an Nvme drive.

Not without a dlc.

I'll probably get back on some Ghost of Tsushma DC if I have time. We are taking my daughter to Six Flags for Boo Fest and I am finishing my basement, so I have a busy schedule.

If I have time, Starfield, Everspace 2 and Sea of Stars.
