Warhawk MP destorys Halo 3 MP (Unbiased View)

As a owner of all 3 consoles this is what I have to say that if lemmings want to enjoy the best muiltiplayer this fall, it won't be on their system. Sure Halo 3 SP will be good, but the MP holds no candle to Warhawk.

1. Warhawk MP 32 players vs. Halo 3 MP limited to 16 players

2. Warhawk dedicated servers vs. Halo 3 P2P laggy online service

3. Warhawk's vehicles are a lot funner and better than Halo 3 Look at the Warhawk jet vs the Banshee, nuff said

4.Warhawk, Ranks, stats, leaderboards, In game rewards, vs. Halo 3 shallow stat system

5. Warhawk has much larger battles and maps, average Warhawk map is 3 times bigger than average Halo 3 map.

6. Warhawk's level of character customization, MP options makes Halo 3's simple, choose Spartan or Elite choice laughable.

Best of luck! And I was underwhelmed with the Halo 3 MP personally. It could have been.......how do I say this? More refined.

Its actually the other way round...and no your post is not unbiased. Also...halo 3 has a single player..know what that is??

I don't think people should say that because a game has more players in a match it is automatically more fun.

Also, how can you list Warhawk's problematic stat tracking as a positive?

1. Warhawk MP 32 players vs. Halo 3 MP limited to 16 players - This is used alot against Halo, but i really dont see why more = better in every case, i believe its alot asier to show skill in a game of 8 v 8, the games are hectic enough as they are.

Small well designed maps are the best in alot of cases

1. I've seen your other posts, you post like a PS3 fanboy.

Halo3 will have an awesome online system. Halo2/3 matchmaking is like nothing else!

You can change your Spartan/Elite's armor parts. Color, different visors, etc.

I'm sure Halo3's stats system will be much more in depth than Warhawks. You could view even where you got killed on a map on Bungie.net for Halo2 matches.

I don't really want to argue with the others, as others have already said that bigger=/=better, and I haven't tried Warhawk vehicles. Halo3 vehicles will be awesome though. The Banshee and Hornet obviously won't be as fast and powerful as a Warhawk jet... The game is a shooter with vehicles.

Dude, I might agree with you if:

1)Halo 3 was even out yet.

2) I wasn't constantly getting the 8002AA008 server disconnect message.

3)My PS3 was anything more than a more affordable blu-ray player.

Give me a freaking break. I am so ticked at Sony right now, I downloaded their 1.92 update and my system turns into a steaming pile right after they release either their best or second best game.

The features and robust nature of Halo 3's online system...coupled with its connections to bungie.net's stats and tracking systems...I don't see how any game in the next few years could or even would desire to compete with Halo 3 online fully. It may not be the best online game this fall...but all people should have to do is look at the work put in via bungie.net for thier Halo 2 stats...and how long it's come over the years.

warhalk is great but its ground combat is pretty weak. and only 10% of the servers are dedicated and their a reall pain to get a game on so it ends up p2p most of the time

and yeah the cod4 beta is way better than the halo 3 1 was. played it tonight for several hours and its going too be the game of the year

i do agree with you about dedicated server's though...seriously Halo 3 is MS's biggest game, at least add some dedicated servers

however, more players =/= better gameplay, and the character customization in Halo 3 is pretty good (change all your armour, helmets, etc.)

R6V is garbage compared to gears and pretty much any decent online shooter.

Its not hard to tell that Halo 3 is a higher quality title than Warhawk in every area. I'm sure Halo 3 would have had bigger maps in comparison to Warhawk if it had N64 graphics and grease slathered textures.

In Halo 3, everything you do can be recorded and is ranked on Bungie.net, even the time it takes you to beat the single player is ranked against everyone else that has beaten it. The armor of each character can be customized and with your own unqiue logo on every body panel with whichever colors you choose.

With my experience with prior XBL multiplayer FPS games like PDZ, Halo 2, Gears Of War, Far Cry Instincts Preditor and other multiplayer games, lag wasn't really an issue, even when the action intensified. Only time I would have lag is when I would have my other computers using my network. This P2P lag thing is blown way out of proportion, if it were as bad as you people say it was then I don't think there would be 7 million people enjoying it. If it did have all these problems then it isn't enough to deter the rise of XBL activity when Halo 3 releases.
