Uplay now the worse DRM?

Twice did the games I downloaded on it had issues with its installer. Last time I get a game there.

Thank You Ubisoft for requiring all your games to have it so much for improved relationship with pc gamers

So what's your experience with Uplay assuming you have games that need it

just made it harder to get into the game. don't know why the extra drm is necessary when the game has steam drm.

i tolerate origin.

I find it unnecessary, especially for games I buy on Steam, but there's nothing bad about about it. Really just an annoyance, kind of like origin

I see all the hoopla in the AC: Black Flag menu for Uplay. I have refused to click on it. If you sign up or log in directly it gets you a free outfit or some shit for your AC character. I still wont do it.

You did touch on something though. Publishers may have beat the consoles to DRM and this is just the beginning.

I see little point of Uplay if your buying a game from steam why all the DRM are they actually trying to make it where it can compete with Origin and Steam.

Uplay is certainly awful and the worst of the two (uplay & origin of course). I do my best to never buy games from either of these two shitbag publishers. They don't deserve a dime from me or any other gamer really.

Sadly I may have to break my own rule once Watchdogs comes out, I'll likely have to get it on PS4 though so I can avoid the tripe that is Uplay.

uplay is on the consoles, just like origin is.

Its just less intrusive.

Since I can have Uplay offline, it doesn't really get in the way. Besides, I only use it for Far Cry 3. I haven't had any problems with Uplay for a while.
