I'm all for creative freedom, but this game looks like shit. What's the fun in just randomly shooting people who don't fight back?
Its like its trying to convince whackos to shoot up a school or something. Its kind of offensive tbh, but thats the point, because it probably not a good game.
Looks awesome.
I'm sure the police and national guard will be called in as the situation escalates, I'm guessing you won't just be killing defenseless civilians for long.
I'd imagine they went with a monochrome color scheme just to get the game released at all, unless that's supposed to represent the darkness in the guys heart or some other senseless bullshit.
If they can keep the challenge level high, *a good example would be something akin to hotline miami where it takes very little to get you killed* this could double as an awesome survival game.
Yeah...this isn't going to end well...
Also, how the **** did he managed to put everything on his jacket ???
I'll pass. This game looks terrible. Not because of the violence but the story is just flat out stupid. Sorry but I don't have fantasies of being being a mass shooter. The main characters story (or lack there of) and motives just don't make for a very compelling character. It's not like GTA where the main character has a story, has a life, has a goal or purpose to what he is doing. Yeah you are free to create murder and mayham in GTA but there is an actual underlying game there that makes it compelling. This game just seems like something that should have been a game mode for a much more robust game. Just not interested at all. Again not about the violence they could have done a better job with the main character and actually giving this guy a story. They are just going for shock value with this and nothing more.
I find it funny how this is even generating controversy.
Manhunt and Postal did this to a greater and grotesquer (is that a word?) degree years ago.

lol, maybe I'm drunk, but that's exactly what I was thinking.rofl.
This game is about to get annihilated by the media. ..the game's physics look good though.

That's what a lot of teenagers love doing in open world games.
Isn't this what all you G Hoes wanted? 'Oh I want photo realistic games! I want mah graffix!' Its only going to get more real. Remember that you wanted this.
This is my first time seeing footage of the game. I don't see why this has people upset, it doesn't look much different from other games.

because people have the inability to think on their own terms(most of them just follow what others or the media says).. apprantly killing in a game without purpose is enough to question their morals
Funny thing is it's mostly the premise and character's motivations that annoy everyone. There is tons of this kind of thing in open world games, but no one is really bothered. Just look at Prototype for example. You rip entire crowds of innocent people in half in one swing, everyone just laughs and thinks it's awesome. Because it absolutely is. Prototype is the shit. Just a tonal shift though, and it's instantly deplorable.
I think it's exploitative and looks pretty boring, but I'm not really upset or anything. People should just shrug and ignore it like any other bad game, don't let it ride on free shock publicity.
When people get their panties in a knot over a video game, I say this, what goes to far for a movie? How many SAW movies came out??? like 8 of them. There are movies based off columbine. They still got to make money off it. There is a movie on netflix called rampage, the entire movie is just a guy going on a killing spree. So If your worried that this game will invoke violence you better start preaching to get these rated R movies banned or be like me and say **** it, freedom of speech.
Buying day 1 just to piss off political correctness.

Pretty sure eventually the Cops and Swat team show up, but I already have GTA for this.
This is pretty violent.
Looks very average for a twin stick shooter but the premise is absolutely terrible. It's going for the "LOOK AT HOW CONTROVERSIAL I AM" approach. Nobody would give a hoot if it wasn't for that.
When you have to base your entire game off of controversy just to get visibility in the market, you don't have a good game.
It's trying to be edgy and shit. Just looks bad.
Yes, there was another thread on this yesterday.
It's a disappointingly stupid looking game and making threads like this only serves to advertise it. I hope a game this nonsensical and moronic sees little to no sales. Shoddy looking gameplay, but the new Polish developers are trying to appeal to violence as a selling point.
Already a thread here. Sorry fellas, shutting this one down... Feel free to continue talking though. This is a pretty shocking concept given its premise and sensitivity to recent forms of psychopathic public behavior.
I see a lot of folks around here barking back at people for feeling more than a bit disturbed by the game. I think it's a tad shortsighted to ignore the potential ramifications a game like this could have on the gaming culture along with possible legislation efforts against games.
I think we all would agree that logical thinking people would play a game like this and carry on with a normal life, and I don't think anyone is arguing that... however There is a reason to be concerned with a game that glorifies innocent murders as it caters to a sub culture of mentally ill people who have carried out these horrific acts.
Probably a better topic to discuss, rather than act overly sensitive about the game from both perspectives.
