Probably the N64 of the consoles ive owned. Ps1 looked more high tech, GameCube looked just cool, Xbox that looked good and powerful, Xbox 360 a better looking Xbox and N64 looked wonky, even the controllers made it even more wonky.
For the big mainstream consoles, I'd have to say the original PS2. That thing looked like a brick on top of a brick with a bunch of ridges jutting out of the sides. It was the opposite of sleek. It was as obtrusive as it gets really.
Aesthetically? I don't get it at all. It looks like a giant pink eraser painted black. Like, was the design team thinking of ideas and one guy look at the eraser on the drawing table and go "EUREKA!"?

It was an easy fix post-warranty, but I only found that out years after buying a slim (I bought a slim in 2004 and discovered the fix in like 2008). The PS2's DRE scandal was epic at the time though. I preferred the look of the fat to the slim.
Granted, the ease of modding a slim for import playing was laughably simple (you don't even have to open the case).
Thank you, how is it possible that many people chooses the 360 or the PS2 over this...this is as ugly as you can get when it comes to consoles, next to the Virtual Boy, the Sega Genesis combo and the original Xbox are by far the ugliest consoles ever.

Not to mention it was a cheaply made piece of shit that rivaled the 360. I probably went through 3-4 PS2s.

you know the Disc Read Error of the PS2 is easily fixable.
Simple laser realignment like shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0f9WUNN_eQ
will fix the Disc read error. I was getting that with every PS2 blue bottom disc, now they read as good as new.
The same fix also works on the PS1, after my original PSX drive stopped working, I bought a replacement laser, and the replacement could only play some PS1 games and others it was just read as an audio CD.
Laser aligned it, and it works as good as new.

What the **** were you doing to your consoles? My first PS2 ,which I got in January 2001, worked to the day I gave it away, even after I accidentally dropped it and had it repaired. As far as I know it's still working to this day. The only problem with my current PS2 is that it doesn't read the old purple discs immediately.
