Since In-engine ISN'T real-time gameplay, of course, curious to see how will it be on XSX then. LOL
No shit sherlock! Every game they show was, of course, running on PC if they aren't true console exclusives of course, so this is hardly a surprise to anyone who's familiar with how E3 has done in the past and still does without E3.
They had to show off the PC version cause it's the on;y way to show off true Raytracing and hey, I was gonna get this on PC anyway cause I love using true Raytracing in my games now. (Thank you my lovely RTX 3070Ti)
When i saw those reflections on the cars, and how sharp they looked, i knew something fucky was going on there. Imagine achieving quality RT with a $500 console running on AMD hardware😆Nice joke.
I'm more concerned with the physics upgrades honestly. Graphics come second or third when it comes to sims.
@hardwenzen: I'm not sure those reflections look that sharp, the reflected objects are noticeably lacking detail, mapping, highlights, shading...
The full native 4K stream that I watched showed the reflections as very sharp, lots of detail and no mapping/highlights/shading issue.

It IS real-time of course. He said that it was on PC and not Xbox. However, he did clarify that Xbox Series X has the same visuals. So that's a win win.
Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?
"In-engine" is a scam in the first place. Real time cutscenes are in-engine and we all remember Uncharted 4.
That's why when he says ray tracing on track, I fully expect it to mean on replays and not while racing.
12TFLOPS is kinda weak when PC enters the arena, so this is expected. Good on them for coming out and correcting the mistake.

Indeed, I am glad they corrected the mistake and confirmed that the Series X is the same visually. Gonna be a FEAST next year when it drops.
Activision should have ran the new cod presentation on PC too, that fps was painful to watch at times
Isn't it a given that E3 demos always run on the most powerful hardware out there?
E3 has been doing this for decades. Those demos are always gonna be on very powerful hardware to show off the prettiest games until the real shit is out.

Much ado about nothing. Every developer. Every game. Every time.
Welcome to reality.
It's not that a PC was used, it was that they mistakenly passed PC footage for console footage. That's why they're clarifying. Usually, demos on PC for console games have a disclaimer on the screen while the presentation is happening.
Man, well that sucks that the xbsex version will have a huge downgrade , but I’m still impressed by the pc Version
@x_hedon: I feel like GT hasn't been as relevant as Forza since PS2.
I can't say if it is more or less relevant. But I think GT Sport did really well throughout the year and added content. They also had a pretty good eSports scene for a bit. I don't know if it was better or worse popularity wise.
GT7 has received flaque for online required, MTX and minimal campaign content. However, the game is solid, the game play is great, and will probably be an 8 year game as a live service and will grow.
@hardwenzen: 'Imagine achieving quality RT with a $500 console running on AMD hardware😆'
Even my 3090 will struggle with this game
Didn't Microsoft demo their games on PCs at E3 a few years back? I think they didn't have the hardware for whatever reason, so they just slapped them on PCs and pretended they were XBoxes.
I think the industry does stuff like this more often than people realise. A lot of smoke and mirrors and improvisations go into these public vertical slices.

IN ENGINE is not a real time. Knock knock on your empty Xbox head. Look how Halo Infinite IN ENGINE trailer ended. Yeah, Craig. LOL Anyway, not surprised by your spin.

We will go with what the devs told us 😂
And MS misled their whole fanbase by telling them that they'll have games to play. Look at 2022. MS offered us the most pathetic year a console manufacturer has ever given us. Its pathetic. Truly pathetic. Like really really pathetic in my humble opinion, actually.
