Isn't this a JRPG? My personal scale for any score given to a JRPG if you are a gamer who enjoys JRPGs, add .5 to the score of an established JRPG franchise and 2.0 to the score of a new JRPG franchise. The vast majority of "mainstream" reviewers are so ignorant as to what actual JRPG fans want and enjoy, it's not even funny.

I'm more surprised by the fact the reviewer enjoyed the combat of this game

Wow. Scored a lot higher than I thought it would. I'll pick it up when it hits the bargain bin.

Me too actually, but I mean the game being in general bad.

Throught it would scoe lower. Beside the nice painting look in the background the demo wasn't good.

I expected a 7.0 to be honest.

Well they did give NIER 5.5 and that was awesome, though I never quite liked what this looked like. 110million

Eh, they were kind of dead-on about NIER imo. Love the music in that game, but the gameplay was just boring and waaaay too much pointless backtracking and whatnot.

They gave it the "Better than the sum of its parts" and "Sucks you in" good emblems, and the bad emblem is the "Terrible first impression" one, which at least means that it picks up a little later in the game. Also 6.5 isn't that bad of a score. I would say that 6.5 is a mediocre score in the good range, ignoring the bad range.

So, it is a dynasty warrior trying to pass as RPG

6.5 seems too high imo

sounds like every hack and slash game, Bayo, Ninja gaiden all over again but this one score much lower !!!!!

I read the review and it seems the game is very underrated, I am actually growing an intrest in it.

I didn't like the demo, but I still got it because thegameplaylooks like it has potential. Looks like the review pretty much says that the gameplay is good, that's all I need for a Hack n' Slay

Higher than what i expected though I enjoyed the demo but the game felt shallow and repetitive I will pick it when its very cheap $20 or so.

I wonder why they go in the trouble making games like that, i mean we have seen so many dynasty warrior games that is not even funny

I will wait for FF13vs and Ni no Kuni myself, than look at random JRPGs like this one or WKC2
