Out of all those, id like Black and White, Star Craft 2, Warcraft series and the total war series. Id also like the Witcher and STALKER.

They could have shortened this by just saying that consoles should get more RTS games.

Consoles really aren't "missing" Diablo. Beat-em-ups/hack and slash has been done to death on consoles. If anything i'd say consoles are proabably the best at that. People describe Diablo as like the best in its genre but then say its just a bunch of nonstop pointing and clicking. Consoles have a term for that: button mashing. Its nothing to be proud of and certainly not something to strive for.

Please don't let anymore PC franchises be destroyed by porting them to consoles.

I should rephrase "pointing and clicking" to "frantically clicking on the mouse nonstop". For some reason I thought that when I equated it to button mashing people would know that I meant something different than typical mouse usage.

Anyways, thats what i've heard from people who praise Diablo. Thats its pretty much just wild frantic button mashing on hordes of bad guys. Like a top-down dynasty warriors played with a mouse.

First, comparing Dynasty Warriors to Diablo, no matter the manner, is just wrong. Diablo has multiple classes each with multiple skill trees that affect how each class is played. It may be a lot of pointing and clicking, but it also has more depth then any button masher on any console.

RTS must be played on PC, and that's almost a fact.

But I disagree with the list. PC games I'd love seeing on a console:

- The Witcher

- Crysis

- Call of Cthulhu

Meh, poor choices if you ask me, most of those wouldn't work well on a console whether it's due to controls, hardware or just the lack of interest.

Games like Stalker, The Witcher, Crysis, Spore and CoH are stuff that could work well tho. TBS games could be good too, controls and hardware shouldn't limit them and I think their slower pace would suit couch gaming well.

Many of those games dont have a hope in hell of working on a console platform or appealing to a console audience.

I can only really see Diablo and B&W working (B&W kinda)

You read my mind with grim fandango. I was playing it the other day using my 360 controller. It struck me as a game that would translate really well to console.

What id like to see is Galactic Civilisations, Xcom or (hurry up dammit devs) Jagged Alliance on hand helds - where TBS suits perfectly.

I think TrackMania is going from PC to DS too, which is a fantastic idea.

Yeah, being the most polished action RPG ever made by leaps and bounds doesn't account for anything does it?

rotfl...Sins and empire would be horrible on a pad. IGN editors made fools of themselves with this list

and the tone in which the whole article is written, like it's some kind of crime that good PC games aren't avaible on consoles, like it's a mistake that absolutely needs to be fixed :D

heres my thoghts on that list:

Seriously though, Crysis is the only PC game I care about. I can live without it though. Especially when I remember it will be downgraded for consoles.

I wouldn't mind a few games like STALKER: Clear Sky, but some games should stay on a certain entertainment system.

Consoles do a good job with all dem fighters and JRPGs, don't see many of them on PCs(There are some), so yeah.
