Which games this gen have the longest lasting value for the buck.?

And by long lasting, I mean fun the whole time, not just waste your time.

So far, we got Oblivion, which has been voted for several times. Now you can stop mentioning it.

Your right I got over 70 hours and thats without any mods (besides natural environments).  I did get bored due to the lack of different environments its all forests, caves, and dungeons.  Morrowind was better.

Oblivion with mods.

ANY pokemon game.

ANY final fantasy game(besides 12).

Oblivion spent 100 hours on it,

MGS4 beat it 21 times about 90 hours pent on it. 

Brawl over 41 hours spent. 

Oblivion for sure (you can easily get over 100 hours without mods), Fallout 3 to a lesser extent (I think I finished most of the big sidequests in about 45 hours), Pokemon D/P.

These are the ones of this gen, you can find a lot more if you're looking for something a little older.

Test Drive Unlimited (it is online, but you have just as much fun offline)

Jeane d'arc (PSP) - 55 hours just to beat it.

Well, I haven't played Oblivion yet because I can't find it on gamestore nearby and I hate to purchase it online.

Final Fantasy series, I can't afford to play FF I and FF II for more than 20 hours.  and A FEW of this serie have some glitches that make me can't play any further (FF VIII).

PS. I download FF I&II to play with VBA. FF series on PS I had to use fake cd to play because I didn't have money to buy it.

70 hours? Holy crap, I'm at around 26 hours and I've been level 20 for a while, not too mention I think I've gotten almost every place on my map explored. :?

The Witcher lasted me forever, it's supposely around 90 hours.

Also, Oblivion with a full mod setup on PC lasts quite a long time also.

Mass Effect was decently long, but I've played longer games, although it was longer than Fallout 3 for me.

You invite some mods to play online with you while playing oblivion. It lets you ban NPCs from stupid content.

The Witcher is easily more than 50 hours, even before you start going into the idea of absolute completionism.MetroidPrimePwn

Oblivion if you can stomach the maddeningly bland eviroments and repetative gameplay. How did they ever go so wrong from morrowind?
