should be DOTA 2.... .. im not suprised that a story driven/console game won over it though.....

narrative driven games like TLOU and GTA 5 are always going to have inheriant bias in professional reviewer's when it comes to GOTY

3 PS3 exclusives haves won the majority GOTY awards. Uncharted 2, MGS4 and TLOU. No other platform comes close.

Sounds about right, it's like they still have something to prove to people after TLOU flopped here. It's been pretty much unanimously agreed on the forums that TLOU is a brilliant game yet they still get all salty when someone brings up that 8, it's the easiest way to get a reaction out of someone.

My personal GOTY is a tie between Super Mario 3D World, Ni No Kuni and the Last of Us.

What the publications' GOTY choices are aren't nearly as important as mine... imo ;)

Just Uncharted 2 and The Last of Us. Good for Naughty Dog but Bethesda Game Studios has three up there: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim. BGS is the bestest.

I said platform not pubisher or studio. None of those games are exclusives except maybe Oblivion(I don't play Bethesda crap).

Doesn't this say something about what a letdown GTAV was? You'd think for all the hype and the development time it would have swept everything. It just wasn't a particularly good game.

Well deserved, I'd say. I don't know if it's my personal GOTY, but it's far and away the best AAA game released this year.

Yeah I was just thinking that. GTAV was certainly a well-crafted game in a lot of respects, but I think it's pretty difficult to come away from it feeling particularly impressed given the issues with GTA Online, coupled with the fact that the game's writing is just so damn abrasive (and its ending was incredibly underwhelming).

Uncharted 3 won 26.

I still haven't played it yet, from my experience with the overpraise of the previous Naughty Dog games my inclination this time is to not bother.

My faith in the industry is dropping.

Naughty Dog are truly one of the best gaming devs in the history of gaming. 100 years from now people will still be talking about their new IPs and amazing games. The same can't be said about the other good games that came out this year.

Since Uncharted 2 Naughty Dog has higher rated games. The Elder Scrolls Online will be a flop. I've never played a Bugthesda game though so I can't judge their quality for myself.

Best game on PS3: TLOU. Best Game of PC: PoE. Best game on WIiU: Mario whatever one we're at. Best game on 360: What game? I legit can't tell if even a single game came out on 360 and is higher quality then a 6/10
