This War of Mine, new PC exclusive coming this year

The Anomaly developer presented a new game coming this year to PC.

Good trailer. Awaiting more info.

This War Of Mine provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle. For the very first time you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout. At night you get a chance to scavenge nearby locations for items that will help you stay alive.

Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them to endure the hardships. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.

A very interesting concept.

The trailer looks great, that said I am curious as to how the actual gameplay will be.

Dat art style is fantastic tho. I look foward to details to see if it's actually worth hyping.

Ya , watched it earlier today . I wanted to post about it but then I thought that threads related to games doesn't get much views on gamespot . Most popular threads are like "OMG , PS4 sucks" and then in no time the entire thread gets flooded with ponies and trolls . Anyways , thanks for posting it . They announced that it'll also be coming to mobiles after PC release and gameplay will be shown at GDC .

If mobile version is planned for later release then I'm pretty sure it will be side scrolling game like the way it is presented in the trailer . The concept and trailer both are awesome , hoping for a great game :-)

Would make an interesting mp. Some assymetrical game, 3 sides, faction A vs faction B vs good as dead civilians.

Asking for a product to reach maximum number of people in exchange for money is demand , not begging . No one cares about trolls that call others as "beggers" . They don't realize that in this case , the makers of their favorite console have been begging for games too , on their websites for years now .

Seems pretty interesting, will keep an eye on it.

This just what i needed.

Now, what i also need is a computer that can run this game.

Unless its nothing like the super intense graphic centric with war survival elements ala Dying Light but replaced with soldiers either wanting to kill you, or make you're not the enemy - and its an indie RTS game or 8-bit elements....then i'll just stick to what i have.

Sounds like Epic's new game--Fortnite. Can't really get hyped based on that trailer as they didn't show anything.

I watched the trailer and read the details, and it seemed underwhelming. But then I re-read the title and noticed I completely overlooked the fact that it's a PC exclusive game. Phew, I was almost worried I wouldn't get to act like a smug prick today. Let me go get my lube. We can share. ;)

intriguing theme and concept, but hate it when dev release a trailer that doesn't show anything that may indicate the gameplay.

Sounds gimmicky.

Without any showing of gameplay it's just an idea. One that sounds like many "good ideas" shared between friends over pizza and beer that turns into a pile of nasty crap.

Sounds like an interesting change, but some actual details would be nice.
