Over on Amazon.com they're offering the complete HD Xbox 360 media experience, bundling together an Xbox 360 Elite, HD DVD player and seven HD DVD movies for the discounted bundle price of $599. The offer's seven free movies are calculated by adding together the five HD DVDs from the "Perfect Offer", King Kong HD DVD that's included in the box and the 300 HD DVD. In the end, you'd be saving around $50 over purchasing everything separately. And we can't help but make a Xbox 360 versus PS3 comparison; buy an Xbox 360 Elite with 120GB HDD and HDMI cable, HD DVD player, and seven HD DVD movies for $599 or a PS3 with 80GB HDD with no cables included, Motorstorm, Blu-Ray player, and five Blu-Ray movies for $599. That might be true, the thing puts out a lot of hot air... but, it's designed to - thus not needing to buy extra hardware to cool something that should have been built properly in the first place(i.e. 360).

My 360 would be, you'll need to buy a cable,I wont :)

I use ethernet cable, im not subscribed to Live and I dont have an external fan. Those accesories you added aren't even needed.

My 360 is on for about 16 hours, minimum of 14 and its perfectly fine. My PS2 gave me more problems than my 360 has.

Or they could buy the 60 gig PS3 for $500 with 5 free blu ray movies?

The 360 doesn't need a cooler. I've had mine since launch in Australia and it is cool 'n' cozy.

So don't give me that "real total stuff"
You don't need Wi-fi to play games and HD-movies.
Oh and How about
PS3 $600
+ Cables $40 - 60
+Blu Ray remote $25
= $670 Just to play movies and games at their proper output.

No offense, but anyone who pays over 10 bucks for a HDMI cable, deserves to get ripped off. You can get one on monoprice for like 4 bucks and it works perfectly.

Also, you can use the controller to control movies..

I strongly agree now which is cheaper? Xbox 360 vs PS3 in price value, ps3 is the clear winner. Xbox360 isnt worth it if you think about it. Everyone thinks xbox360 is worth more than ps3 but ps3 is worth more. Also the blu-ray is not only $300, its $400-$1000!

Um, sorry gentlemen, I've seen a 7 Blu Ray deal with the $500 PS3 before. Sorry, TC, no cigar.

Not really, only on certain areas and you have to leave it on for quite a while. Plus it's better to be hot on the outside of the consoles than hot on the inside (360)
