the order: the perfect game to rent?

I rented 1886 the other day, it was $3 at redbox. I got through it in around 6 hours with my girlfriend (passing controller around). Returned it the next day, and i have got to say that I'm very satisfied with my rental.

It's the perfect game to rent. it's short, so it can be beaten within a free night. It's cinematic, has a nice story, and isn't heavy on gameplay so you never have that feeling of "i have to buy it so i can play it for x amount of hours more", and there's no multiplayer, online or offline, so another reason not to hold on to it.

i used to rent games from blockbuster and family video when i was younger for ps1, snes, gc, xbox, etc. Without a doubt the order: 1886 is the best game ever developed for a rental.

What do you guys think?

Yes, but I'll most likely buy it aswell when it hits 20bucks. I enjoyed it.

No, there are much better games to rent at Redbox. For example, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has a more enjoyable single player and would be worth a rental, especially if you're not interested in multiplayer.

The Order is a bad game. People shouldn't play that game at all, even if it's just a rental.

Basically 90% of PS exclusives are rent and return experiences

Gameplay wise it's just an average cover based TPS.

People need to stop overreacting over The Order and just admit it's not a AWFUL HORRID BANE OF EXISTENCE game....for fucks sake it's just average cover based shooter.

The fucking thing isn't going to bring down the gaming industry.

Apparently someone has never even tried The Order. It does make the perfect rental game. I myself did the same thing and enjoyed it for the night. I'm sure Sony wanted people to buy it but oh well.

It is a below average cover shooter. No one is saying The Order is one of the worst games of all time or whatever. However, it's still a very bad game, and people should spend their time on something better.

Gamespot gave The Order a 5. A 5 is mediocre. Mediocre = average. Not below average.

So The Order is not a below average game.

You can play it on PC consolite.

That's just one mans opinion. I say it's a below average game.

Some sites have given this game 9s and 8s, and I don't agree with that at all.

It's the perfect pass, honestly.

Honestly I rented it, and it wasn't even a good game for that. The game just straight up sucks.

We're suppose to go by what Gamespot says.

It's the mecha-meta game thing.

So by these standards....it's not below average.

Girlfriend: "Really?! Okay. Oh my God, this game looks so good, and is so easy to play."

Boyfriend: "Yeah, keep up the good work honey."

Girlfriend: "Oh, what's that thing there?"

Boyfriend: "Just press whatever button it shows on the screen."

Girlfriend: "Oh my God, I'm so good at this. Are there any vampire's in this game? Vampires make me so horny."

Boyfriend: "Oh, a shooting section. Gimme the controller, GIMME!"

Why spend $10? Watched the whole thing on twitch and enjoyed the experience.

It's only worth two dollars to me to be honest. Redbox rental is only 2 dollars. The game is very bad.

I rented it at Redbox as well so it ain't no big deal but I sure as Hell wasn't gonna pay $60 for a quicki that's for damn sure.

Nah it's a bad game, don't even rent it. Played at my friend's house for 40 minutes, got a couple of average shooting sections combined with heaps of cutscenes, walking segments, QTEs. Not worth playing imo.

Perfect game to burn is more like it.
