So apparantly the game has not been cancelled prior to what most of us thought. Did anyone here actually like Street Fighter X Tekken? I did not personally, i would like to see what Namco could do with the crossover title.

Game Director and Chief Producer of the Tekken series Katsuhiro Harada said today at Comic Con that Tekken X Street Fighter is still in development according to Siliconera.

Harada went on to say that the game is still moving forward, but with all the projects that are being worked on it needs its own spotlight so please relax.

Nope, not that i found. Which is strange. Haven't they worked on this since 2011/12?

They released a few teaser artwork images, and an in engine of some Tekken character doing a short combo into a Shoryuken. But that was a LONG time ago. They had a lot going on then though, probably put the game on the back burner to let both their games, and SFxT breathe.

Street Fighter X Tekken was awful.

I tried liking it, but the game was just not good and it didn't help that you have to pay to get the full roster. Even though you can clearly see them on the Character Select Screen.

They are holding it off..till that Capcom SFxTekken debacle cools off or forgotten. Capcom fucked it up badly. It should have been good. Its average, the game was gifted to me by one of my mates on Steam. :P

afaik, they started working on this the same time Capcom started working on SF X Tekken.

Because they were both announced at the same time.

And now a new Tekken was announced, very strange.

@LegatoSkyheart: Capcom just haven't learned anything.

People are not bothered whether the content is on disc or not. It's that they are making you pay extra for something you would have got included before and even waving it in your face the day of purchase If a game is completed, include it all. Not doing so is greed. I don't mind them tacking things on after, particularly in the case of Dark Souls 2 where an epic sized game was expanded upon months later. But this is just so wrong. You are paying full price for half a game.

Well after Last Guardian, Final Fantasy and now this. It doesn't really surprise me...

What? You had to pay to get all characters?

What a blatant ripoff

The only reason I still remember that game now was when they announced Tekken 7 and I asked myself what ever happened to T X SF

@Suppaman100: No. You pay full price game for half the roster. Then pay them a lot more for characters already programmed and available, and in many cases, old.

You don't have to support this. It's okay to be a fan of capcom fighters and dislike this. Because they are very greedy and should feel bad.

@LegatoSkyheart: This. The whole DLC bullshit was already bad enough but then they had to ruin the game by making your two fighters share the same lifebar...I think it kinda defeats the whole purpose of a tag team fighting game when your team shares the same lifebar, and having to buy more characters that are locked away in the game sure as hell didn't help things either.
