Tekken 6?

Hey guys quick question. I was thinking about getting tekken 6 for my 360. I am a huge Tekken fan and have owned them all. But i don't want to buy the new one if the online is no good. So my qestion is. Did they fix the online lag? Also are there people playing online???

The Lag isn't going anywhere, they did try to fix it, but it will never be the TEKKEN you get when you have someone right next to you.

Hope you have a Joystick, the 360 dpad makes this game harder than norm. :P

Tekken 6 is by far the best installment of Tekken. The online scéne on PSN is really brutal, you will get beaten if you don't know how to play properly...it is really competitive since anyone playing knows how to play. The online is always active, mostly throughout the day but even in the deep nights you can find opponents to beat down.
That said, graphically the game has issues...but easily overlooked when focussing on the real fight.
Nice maps/stages to fight in, good music, it's got it all.

Note: Online gameplay is NOT offline gameplay, the one is not substitution for another...offline beats online any day since there is no lag and no input lag at all.
And after the patch lag issues are solved, you get to pick if you want to play against someone which his connection quality is shown.
If you want no lag, play wired (ethernet cable in your PS3/xbox60) and play against/with good connection-opponents.
Competive online gameplay is a joke on the xbox360. (the reason is shown below)
The D-pad on the xbox360 is a joke on fightinggames and therefore people prefer the PS3 version solely because of the PS3 controller > xbox360 controller.

Ignore the above person. Tekken 6 has the worst campaign mode in the entire tekken series. Tekken force mode is awful, graphics are not even as good as Soul Calibur 3. All it was is a extension to Tekken Dark Resurection, which to be fair, is much better.

The gameplay felt so last gen and seems more been there done that.

If you are huge Tekken fan, then what the hell you waiting for, go for it. Online is fine, you just need to watch out on connection bar

Sounds like a pretty good game. And i can't get it on the ps3 since i don't have one, but the 360 version is supposed to be identical. I am a huge fan so i think i will pick it up.

Avoid it like the plague. One of the worst fighters in recent history. I picked up the game/stick bundle for 360 when Amazon had it for cheap.

I have actually always been a Street Fighter fan it seems a much more tactical fighter.
