Things to note... I played zero hours in TV mode. All 227 hours were in handheld.

Oct 11th I played 7 hours of Metroid Dread... My biggest gaming day of the year.

So I live in the US but I still tried to click on "Europe" in the OP. That worked but "North America" did not. Go figure lol

I'm scared to look :-P It's been a tough year for game time, and PC (VR in particular) has dominated my attention.

Sounds about right. My most played game was Fortnite at 60 hours. Which is waaaaaaaay less Fortnite than last year. (317 hours) 2021 wasn’t as big of a gaming year for me. I decided to get swole instead.

I've got literally no time in the switch this year nothing has caught my eye.

Mine are:

- 431 hours played

- Monster Hunter Rise 241 hours

- Animal Crossing: New Horizons 58 hours

- Super Mario Bros. 35 50 hours

- 22 games played

- 431 hours in docked, 0 undocked

Played 7 games for a total of 16 hours

Most played: Mario Odyssey 7 hrs, NSMBU Deluxe 4 hours, DKC Tropical Freeze 2 hrs

9 hours in docked mode, 7 hours in handheld

7 hours Metroid Dread. I swore it took longer than 7 hours to complete.🤔

EDIT:😂 I just remembered I switched to another Switch only to realize I have to start over because cloud saves is not free on Nintendo systems and it is not easy to transfer saves. I forgot how dumb saving is on Nintendo systems. 🤬

Doesn't seem right, I definitely didn't put that much time into dread. My kids played it too, but that was on their own profile.

Nintendo and in depth stats sadly don't go hand in hand. All we have to flaunt are our in game hours played in 2022 smh.

I have Zelda Skyward Sword to play and really can't find myself to play it simply because I get absolutely nothing for going through it. We need achievements. Something to show what we've accomplished. But then again Nintendo still doesn't have a robust online service, messaging system or even voice chat so maybe I'm asking for too much. 🤔

I don't know how to say this, but your stats are incredibly disappointing. For a sheep cult leader, i expected noticeably more hours spent on your Switch. Not cool, dude.😭

I played like 5 hours of my switch in 2021, trying to get past how boring BOTW is. I really tried to get into it again.

@hardwenzen: I mean, near 300 hours on the platform this year. Plus, I got several other platforms, including XBOX and PC.

And I have a job as well.

I have more hours in just one game, Demon's remake. This right there tells me that you're not worthy of a leader.

I did not game a lot on the Switch this year as I did most my gaming on Ps4 .. but I had a blast playing Dread 😁

Played DMC3 in January - Feb for about 30 hours.

Barely played from March - August. (Like 2 hours total)

Playtime steadily increased through the last few months of the year. December will probably take the crown, b/c of playing stuff (mostly Smash) with family. Currently sitting at about 80 hours total

Something about not being able to play a game because it doesn't give you a popup message telling you you've done some sort of bullshit, is just sad to me. You "get nothing" by playing? You get to play a game, wtf? Who plays games for achievements?

I'd much rather see Nintendo make an online that works and isn't stupidly expensive before I see their take on achievements.

@theam0g: I love games without achievements... It reminds me of my childhood when we didn't need achievements to guide our actions. Wr just played the games and besting it was the achievement.

@zerothehero: Yeah, not much on Switch has caught my interest in a long time. Nintendo is creatively bankrupt to me. My PS hours are gonna be at like 1000+ since I work from home.

I hated that game when I got it for Christmas in 2011, I hear the port doesn't make things much better at all. Still broken controls. Is that true?
