So now when you post "pre-order cancelled", you can actually cancel your pre-order for real XD

I never tried to cancel a pre-order myself, but I think you had to contact the support for that. Perhaps now they will implement some sort of a button to cancel pre-orders.

they do some decent deals for pre order but i can never shake how if i wait 3 or 4 months you can catch new games on a sale and get them for next to nothing.

steam sales have ruined me.

i don't get any new releases anymore much less pre order something.

This move will damage greenmangaming now, as I would rather pay a few more bucks and have an opportunity to cancel my pre-order if the game bombs with early reviews.

I've cancelled pre-orders. No hassle whatsoever.

The very young and angry steam youths will still cry. They should all have there accounts locked.

GMG almost always has a 20-25% discount code though, they don't just work on preorders. If I'm really not sure about a game I just wait for the reviews, the preorder content is rarely worth the risk.

Anyway this is a nice move, it's kind of silly that they didn't offer it before though.

I've never understood the concept of a pre-order in the age of millions of printed copies or an infinite supply of digital copies. Maybe to "pre-pay" for the game, I guess, but isn't that what a budget is for?
