Starfox to be Wii's first great online game?

lets face it, as much as anyone defends wi-fi it just isnt nearly as good as psn or xbl. lack or headset and overuse of FC rly have just been killing it

but nintendo has a tendency to learn from their mistakes

with the wii's online games rly being either good....., or meh it rly needs a killer app to take them into the top tier of online gaming with everbody else.

Starfox has a tradition of making history: Star fox (snes) first full 3-d console game to run on that chip thingy, Star Fox64 (N64) brought rumble to console gaming, Star Fox Adventures (GC) rare's last nintendo game :(

i see no reason why Star Fox Wii shouldnt lead the nintendo online revolution, either bringing a headset in the picture or really just making it not suck, and thats ignoring the fact its multiplayer has SO MUCH potential.It's just a shame we might have to wait that long.

e3 '08 is gonna be an exciting one....

Brawl will be Wii's greatest online game.

But I'm really looking forward to Starfox Wii if there is one. I welcome a good online mode. If I remember correctly, I had fun with the multiplayer in 64. Then again, I was quite young.

I don't really see the 'potential' in an online multiplayer mode in a Starfox game (then again, I haven't played the DS one).

It should primarily be a singleplayer game, like the previous games.

Brawl is adding a lot to the mix though, 3rd party vs. 1st party. Plus, it has a level editor. YAY LEVEL EDITOR! :D

It has stats, just fighting against randoms doesn't hurt/help it. Which is probably a good move considering that Ninty's online is P2P and host disconnects are enough to make you throw your console out the window.

Yes, 10 hour on-rails game (multiple paths) with more modes and online/local mutliplayer and co-op. That would be amazing. I would buy it 10 times.

On the Brawl site, the Starfox level makes me so excited for a possible Starfox Wii...

Star Fox & Star Fox 64 both introduced something new to gaming, with real 3D polygons, and rumble. Why not bring back the trend with introducing voice communication to the Wii. Flaming235

If there is going to be a Starfox game on Wii, I hope it's more like Starfox Adventures rather than Starfox Assault. That was a really awesome gane.Erebyssial

I'd rather have Assault style. Best in the series IMO, on foot just needed a little tweaking. I don't really consider Adventures to be a Starfox game, just a game that uses Starfox characters.

Either way, as long as Panther doesn't speak in third person, like in command, I'll be happy.

Brawl will be the Wii's first great online game, even without voice chat and rankings.

You want to play Starfox online, play StarFox Command on the DS.

You want to play a really good StarFox game, play the SNES game or StarFox 64.

That all said, I hope they make a sequel for the Wii that is on par with Starfox 64, and with the ability to play co-op. If they were able to implement an awesome co-op mode in a Starfox 64 style game, I would be extremely happy. Don't reallycare for the deathmatch style multiplayer that they have right now. I Doubt they will ever do an awesome co-op capable Starfox game though, and it makes me sad to see the potential wasted.
