Sorry to say it but eventually SC (not this one I guess) will be on PS3.  MGS4 is going to stay exclusive.

Not Splinter Cell 5. Microsoft announced they had an exclusive deal.

I do agree that splinter cell is going to be a much better game, but the problem is that its also going to be on the ps3 so you cant really use that against the ps3, use gears or lost planet or some of our good stuff comming out.

Yeah a wanna be. So why couldn't you do half the things in MGS3 that you could do in SC1? Different games different gameplay. MGS isn't even stealth, to me its gun blazing hide and seek action adventure.

better pwn it mgs4 is a year away and just recently got final dev kits and SC4 comes out next month and has had final dev kits since september 2005. So not really pwning just wait til mgs4 gets closer to coming out it will look great. Also i know someone will say it in this topic "MGS4 textures and animations suck" first it is a year away and to quote 1up who really plays the game for the textures and the animations and they said both arent that bad and they hate ps3

i will i can play SCDA at store i will miss it but i will play the ps2 version since it isnt coming to ps3 also just telling you the SCDA demo for multiplayer is rumored to come out tomorrow same with a COD3 demo and a bunch of others so we should see no lemmings on system wars tomorrow probably

true and hideo uses real world weapons and equipment along with his own made up creations, which is a nice mix, especially since he uses proper designations for weapon systems(if you've played snake eater, google D21 drone).something splinter cell cant even touch on, he uses an FN F2000, but they call it something else in his games..besides sam is nothing compared to OLD Snake and nowhere near young snake

msg4 has a larger fanbase than sc.  but i have to agree, sc looks much better than mgs4 now.  but mgs4 will look much better in the future. sc looks better overall

SC doesn't copy MGS. That's absurd. They belong in the same genre, but SC seems more developed play wise then MGS. MGS almost seems like a comic book, and SC seems like something that could happen. The multiplayer is sooo much better in SC than in any MGS, if Chaos theory didn't get your adrenaline racing in multiplayer, than I don't know what will.

Glasses make you look more badass, but the only thing is they give off a horrible reflection alerting troops to your position.

He kind of looks like that guy off CSI: Vegas, um... Nick. :? But yes, the character models aren't as good as MGS4 but the environments are much more detailed.

How is this PS3 ownage?

It's coming out on everything... GC, PS2, Xbox, Xbox 360, PC, PS3, and Wii...

It's universally Multiplat, so the only people who do any owning are the one's who get the best version.

I could give a rats @zz what scores what...I think Splinter Cell games are among the best games ever created. I have never liked any Metal Gear game...Even the one for the original NES sucked!

MGS4 appeals more to me, opinion though....Graphic wise, I think MGS4 has character models and effects, but DA has lighting and textures, though, i'm sure SC5 will have better graphics in all ways.

What do you mean, even. That game was the worst of all MGs, wasn't even canon, it's a crap port of the original MSX version. However, it's fine you don't like the MGS', all opinions. But I think, "Even MGS for PS1 sucked!(Although I disagree)" would be a better thing to say, being that it was critically acclaimed, MG for NES was basically obvious suck.
