Splinter Cell Conviction - Biggest dissapointment in 2 years.

Honestly when this game was shown at E3 it looked outstanding, I can't believe I'm sitting here regretting my purchase it's absolute crap.

Im playing through it now, and its actually really fun so far... not sure why all the hate, unless you were a SC fan prior to this game, which i was NOT. I think old fans hate the new game, and new players like it.

I liked the game. The plot was weak-sauce (kind of a MW2 level rip-off). But better than I thought it would be.

meh to me its a disappointment.

the stealth is bad enough.

plus i hate when people talk but their mouths don't move, and it just doesn't look that good to me tbh

I think it's pretty good. It's a bit faster paced than previous Splinter Cells, but I like the story and TO ME, the difficulty is just right. I know some people think it's too easy, (some of you are machines) but I think it perfectly matches my frustration level and still is interesting enough to continue playing. And to the people who are claiming it isn't a stealth game, you are full of it. It DOES suck that you can no longer hide bodies, but if you plan your kills right you won't need to. But I don't know how anyone can come back from playing SC:C thinking it isn't stealthy enough. I think it's a good effort.

When there are a lot of changes made to a long running series someone is bound to come out unhappy. Obviously some like the game and other don't - big shocker- like with every game.

with games like Conviction you have to go in open minded without pre-conceived conceptions of whether or not you will like it, and play the game for what it is, not what you want it to be.

if you still dislike a game after going in with this approach, thats fine, your entitled to your opinion, but if you decide you hate the game before you start playing, which some people do, you have no right to bash it because you were probably trying really hard to find things you didn't like about the game instead of focusing on the good parts, which unless you are a game critic you should always do.

i really liked it. the story and presentation are the best in the series.

its da worst game to come out this year so far imho n its not even a stealth game anymore. ina real stealth game u can hide in boxes splinter conviction u cant do that so its not a real stealth game its flop of the year

It's not the best Splinter Cell game, but it's a great game none-the-less. Co-op is awesome fun.
