Spiderman: Miles comes with PS4 Spiderman Remaster. Does Miles have enough content on its own?

Nah. They put it together in like 2 years. Probably about 15-20 hours of gameplay?

So, this game is closer to Persona 5 Royal than a sequel.

Its a smart way to get people to repay for what they already have. Does this mean that PS4 Spiderman isn't going to have a PS5 upgrade for free?

My guess is it will be 8 - 12 hours, they can probably throw some filler in there to stretch it out a bit.

As long as there is BC and hopefully with a performance mode as well

So it comes with the OG game? Whilst that's really solid, it does undermine Miles Morales and his potential story. Probably a leaping off point, but it sucks Miles couldn't get a full game at release.

10 hour gameplay is around uncharted/ infamous second son game time so I dont think would mind.

If this is all we're getting on day one, i'm skipping the PS5 until there's something worthwhile. If you're not into superheroes, this looks damn mediocre.

I'd bet there are still at least a couple more games that we'll get at launch. Still keeping my fingers crossed on the SOCOM rumor, but not holding my breath.

As far as the length of this game.. no clue, but the way they are acting, probably somewhere between 8-20 hours.

Fallout 4 did this, too. I hated Fallout 4 but it had plenty if hours of content and also came with previous Fallouts.

@Pedro: I think it's a bit different where Persona 5R has the extra content weaved in, Miles Moralis can be played standalone.

Paying for Spider-Man again I doubt it, since MS is upgrading to next gen for free it's hard to see Sony not follow up.

Its hard to argue that its standalone when the original game comes with it. I don't think it matters in the overall scope of things but the inclusion of the previous game may indicate that the content is possibly lacking.

I will definitely like to see if the original game will get the same upgrade that the Miles Morales version is getting for the PS5.

Why is that funny? Perhaps it was the gap I included? (which I did on purpose to reflect low and high end story content)

The original Spiderman was about 15-20 hours (main story) and since this is more of an add on (albeit being stand alone) instead of a true sequel I could easily see the game being shorter... especially since they are packaging it with the remastered original.

Not sure if this is legit or not, but it says they said it's about half the length of the original... putting it somewhere between 8-12 for most people.... Completionists and those looking for every collectible and trophy will probably get a lot more (20+), but that's the average, and not everyone collects every little scrap in the game.

Either way, if that source is legit I would say I was just about right on target depending on play-style saying 8-20 hours.

If they charge full price then its a rip off.

@tdkmillsy: it's totally going to be a full 60 - it "includes" the original game. There's no way they'll give you the expansion (let's say a $30 price tag normally) and "next gen" Spiderman remaster for under 60. They charged full price for the next gen TLOU version and nobody batted an eye

Loved Spiderman. I just played it so I'm not ready for more yet, but perhaps when this comes out I will be.

Usually when a game does this, it's because the dev is afraid that the length of the game doesn't warrant its price tag. So it's probably really short AND it's going to cost more than it's worth. I don't doubt that it will be fun though.

sense when 15-20 hour game is not enough? last gen was full of 8 hour tack on single player to online games. but i guess every one expects 100 hour games now.

yes but now you got xbox not charging for updated versions so im sure its going to be 30 for miles and upgated version. sony knows this and will counter them.

It’ll be fine as long as it has a good story and it’s decently sized. Infamous last light comes to mind. Just hope it’s longer than last light.

no there are other games i will play. im waiting to play ghost on the ps5. plus resistance game is rumored to be a launch game so i will get that one. plus i never played demon souls. there is plenty to keep me busy until miles goes down in price.

@gifford38: So Demon's Souls isn't a launch title and weren't you the one who couldn't get past the first boss in BB? Fromsoft games might not be your cup of tea. Resistance is a rumor without much legs as well, so sounds like you will be playing PS4 games on your 5 for a while, unless you get Miles for $60.

I checked and the base game's storyline is 16 hours and it's overall about 30 hours. So Miles Morales is unlikely to be 15-20 hours.
