Spider-Man 2 is 10-11 hours long. Including cutscenes.

If the game is fun/enjoyable then the value is relative.

@HalcyonScarlet: So few equals 11hrs? Thought few was like 2hr. Or maybe even 4hrs. Story can be skipped and those who like story watch it. Everyone wins. So yes wolverine is going to be for most people that don't hate because it has Sony on the box. Its a great game.

I can confirm that this number is indeed BS! I'm 18 hours in and nearing the end of the story on Amazing difficulty. I've got like maybe 1 hour of side stuff in.

I've seen different accountings of cutscene to gameplay ratio, but essentially it's being argued as 1/2 to 2/3 the game is cutscenes. Ouch!!

One account said 8 hours of cinematics for a 12 hour run. Another said 6 hours of cinematics for 10 hour run. That's up there with MGS4 with most unbalanced cutscene to gameplay ratio.

So what happens if you stop paying for GP?

Well saying that “game A” cost 10 buck with GP is false, or saying that it comes with GP for free if your paying a subscription every month.

It's super short and it's a bugfest. I am over half way through and I have 5 hours logged.

To be honest who cares how long a game is, if a person wants to spend $70 for 10 hours enjoyment (far less money than going to most professional sports game) then have at it.. personally I would wait for it to go on sale, but I am cheap LOL.

As for bugs, show me a game that does not have bugs. In my play through of Starfield my companion's head was missing after we used the stealth suits, I had to restart the game to get it to reappear. I found it funny personally.

Occasional bugs are fine. Game breaking bugs forcing you do go back to previous saves/checkpoints are not.

Here is a bug many people have been getting.

Agreed. The game is longer than is being represented by this thread. I beat the campaign, and according to the PS app, I've played 21 hours at that point. I still had a bout of 40% of side content to do.

I platinumed the game in 22 hours

I don't really care if or how he played it. I played it and it took me more than 20 hours to complete. About 25-30 to Platinum. That's more relevant to me than some youtube videos.

@Zero_epyon: How long it took you to complete the story is irrelevant when the subject is how long it takes to complete the story and watch the cutscenes. 11 hours by someone who stuck to the main story and went directly from one objective to the next. Whatever you did for that extra 9 hours, it wasn’t trying to finish the game.

I watched a few sections of that video. This is more akin to a speedrun and not reflective of a typical playthrough.

For me personally, the first game was so much better than the second one.
