qftWell now that you changed it to Fallout 3 specifically, I say: Fallout: NV>Skyrim>Fallout 3.

I thought it was garbage to be honest. Doesn't come close to Godrim. Not only does Fallout>Elder Scrolls... New Vegas>Anny game ever. Period.

Skyrim>New Vegas>>>Fallout 3>Oblivion
My feelings on the most recent Bethesda RPGs (New Vegas is Obsidian, but w/e =P ).
Edit:
Though I'm still waiting for a random dragon attack, all mine were ones in fixed locations:(

Really? I feel like I run into dragons on a fairly common basis. In fact, I just saw a Frost Dragon get his ass handed to him by two giants and three mammoths. =D
I liked Skyrim more than Fallout 3, but I liked Fallout: New Vegas a lot more than either of those two. Just more my kind of game.
I can't believe all the people calling Fallout 3 garbage. That game is amazing. I don't think I could choose between Skyrim and Fallout 3. Skyrim is technically better, but Fallout 3 holds a special place in my heart.
Skyrim hands down.Fallout 3 for me. Once Fallout 4 comes out it will be amazing.

Ratchet and Clank. I'm excited that was an option, because that's what I wanted to pick as soon as I saw who the TC was. Can't say Skrim and Fallout have read my mind like that.

blast, missed my chance to vote Lombax:evil:
Despite the two being similar in many ways, I choose Skyrim because I actually like it. I spent a considerable time playing Fallout but looking back on it I can't say I thought that time was well spent.
I like both a lot. Skyrim is the better game for now, but if Fallout 4 learned from Skyrim, then yes, it would be better. IMO, the story is far better in Fallout 3 and so are the quests. There are much fewer, but better. The choice that Fallout 3 has really adds a new depth into the game too. I remember playing Fallout 3 thinking, "What am I gonna do? How am I going to decide the outcome?" Bethesda also fit in some really intersting choices and thinking into it too. In Skyrim, I had to train my brain out of that. The quests are all linear. There were more, but lacking compared to Fallout 3.
Idk how people prefer New Vegas to Fallout 3._Cadbury_
Superior Roleplaying elements.
Choices that actually matter
Superior Writing
More open-ended
Factions
Morally Gray instead of Black and White
An actual continuation of the first two Fallouts storywise.
A more believable Wasteland Environment with logically placed settlements instead of a themepark of Post Apocalyptic cliches.
NV didn't have Three Dog.
And no subways full of ghouls.
And no AK47.
Automatically loses imo.
NV did alot of things right, but it also did alot of things very wrong.
Out of top 5 series
- Deus Ex series
- Half-Life series
- Grand Theft Auto series
- Fallout (FO1 FO2 FO3) all the other "fallout" games like tactics and NV were sidenotes
