i dunno.. i think the lack of "technology" and a setting i dont like doesnt do it for me... so fallout 3.. fun fact : after playing fallout 3 over 2-3 years with only 20 hours (yes...20 hours lol) i suddenly started playing it again earlier in the week and have now accumulated 50 hours total... Guess i got into it..
Idk how people prefer New Vegas to Fallout 3. NV was soo bland compared to F3 both environment and side quest wise. Between Skyrim and Fallout 3, it's really hard to pick, I'm not sure I could at this stage.
My feelings on the most recent Bethesda RPGs (New Vegas is Obsidian, but w/e =P ).

Really? I feel like I run into dragons on a fairly common basis. In fact, I just saw a Frost Dragon get his ass handed to him by two giants and three mammoths. =D

Hey I like cake New Vegas, was better written and more humorous.
I can't believe all the people calling Fallout 3 garbage. That game is amazing. I don't think I could choose between Skyrim and Fallout 3. Skyrim is technically better, but Fallout 3 holds a special place in my heart.
Ratchet and Clank. I'm excited that was an option, because that's what I wanted to pick as soon as I saw who the TC was. Can't say Skrim and Fallout have read my mind like that.

Despite the two being similar in many ways, I choose Skyrim because I actually like it. I spent a considerable time playing Fallout but looking back on it I can't say I thought that time was well spent.
I like both a lot. Skyrim is the better game for now, but if Fallout 4 learned from Skyrim, then yes, it would be better. IMO, the story is far better in Fallout 3 and so are the quests. There are much fewer, but better. The choice that Fallout 3 has really adds a new depth into the game too. I remember playing Fallout 3 thinking, "What am I gonna do? How am I going to decide the outcome?" Bethesda also fit in some really intersting choices and thinking into it too. In Skyrim, I had to train my brain out of that. The quests are all linear. There were more, but lacking compared to Fallout 3.
