SonySpot bias is on full display

Not only Gamespot is "biased". But also Metacritic, where Sony and Nintendo exclusives dominate and MS is far behind.

Also hilarious, when people mention games that were long in development before MS did what they do best: Burn a lot of money.

You only have a case for this one. Otherwise...

Better luck, what? I would've LOVED Halo Infinite to get a 10/10. It's one of my favorite franchises of ALL TIME. 343i dropped the ball badly and they've been fumbling for it ever since. If anything, the 9/10 PROVES that Gamespot IS NOT BIASED. Either they were all reviews bought off or they genuinely deserve it but the point is that it's an equal opportunity.

In which Uncharted 4 destroys due to the MC, and I only use MC because both games got the same score here at GS.

umm there’s a typo here:

1. Both Halo Infinite (single player campaign) and Ragnarok got 9 here.

2. Over at MC, Ragnarok sits at a healthy 94, and Halo Infinite sits at a 87.

So how‘s Halo Infinite > Ragnarok other than preference?

Going by it’s scores/sale, it seems that many preferred watching it than playing most of Xbox exclusives.

I don't use metacritic, it counts scores from sources I wouldn't normally trust, such as the local newspaper or IGN.

That said, I wasn't making a statement about quality here, more like quantity. 1 vs 1.

Sounds like projection. First you got upset that PC plays the most, if not all of the games in the GS list. Then while pointlessly arguing about UC4 vs. Deathloop you got upset when I point out the fact both are playable and best on PC. Without even refuting my statement.

1. You clearly have reading comprehension problems or English isn’t your native language. You quoted me saying “another game that plays best on pc” instead of saying“ another pair of GAMES that plays best on pc”, which clearly indicated that you was only talking about Uncharted 4. Stop trying to hide your lemming demeanor, you’re not very good at it.

2. I’m not anywhere near mad about games being superior on pc, that’s why you guys pay the big bucks to play at or above the levels of consoles. No matter how better pc plays multiplats, consoles are here to stay. It seems that not too many people care about pc superiorness due to most multiplats selling better on consoles.

I don't know if this was about me, but I had no confrontations with these games. And if it was about me, the "fight" would have to be about performance for the PC to be applicable, and I don't often have much interest in performance discussions.

In the same way if you spend enough money on a PC its the best version.

If you spend the least on a PC its also the worst version.

So PC has the best and worst versions of the game.

Yeah I mean some of those 10's are questionable at best and for my money as far as Halo goes it should be on the list for Halo 3, Halo 3 provided a great single player campaign, a full online co-op mode, full suite of casual and ranked PVP, a map editor, a theatre mode, character customisation and a file sharing system, and from a technical standpoint it was rock solid.

Those days feel like a million years ago. Back when Microsoft wasn't obsessed with putting a pay wall behind everything we've had access to games before. The monetization practices in Halo Infinite are disgusting and literally suck the fun out of multiplayer. Even the campaign couldn't save it and it doesn't help that it banks on nostalgia.

Would love to see Gamespot staff do some videos or articles where they go over all these games and even bring back the reviewers from those times. They can share what it was like to play the game AT THE TIME because let's be honest, very few games have aged perfectly. Current staff could share their thoughts on if they agree with the score, how they would rate the game now, and share any games they think deserved a 10.

Sadly I think they're more interested in getting as many clicks for as little work as possible :/

@nepu7supastar7: Which monetisation practices suck on Halo? There’s no pay to win…you can pick it up for free and play with the same levels, weapons and armour without dropping a dime. You can complain that it didn’t get enough content, but optional cosmetic items which don’t affect gameplay in any way isn’t altering anything on the funmeter.
