Sony: PS4's will be hard to find until Summer

I haven't gotten my PS4 yet but in Austria I don't find it all that hard to see the odd PS4 here and there so maybe it is really sold out elsewhere. May you guys confirm?

I think this topic could've used another thread.

Limiting supply creates demand. Great business tactic. Not like these new consoles are so cutting edge they can't make them quicker. Nintendo did it with Wii.

@cainetao11: You mean like Microsoft delaying Titanfall for the 360 to drive Xbox One sales? And even that didn't work out for them. Source:I work electronics retail and we sold maybe 10 out of the 70 Ones we got.

Sony: "We aren't going to repeat our past mistakes with the PS3, we'll be securing plenty of supply so we don't have a shortage".

Proceeds to have a shortage again.

PS4s were hard to find here in U.S, Utah until around March 1st. Now they are in stock most of the time. I work in retail in many stores and see them there now as where before they were always sold out.
