Sony files trademark for horror game Until Dawn

looks like Sony ready to re-announce it soon. yay more exclusive for mah PS4!

Hopefully it's sweet...Always willing to try out new IPs when they roll out, but I'm also pretty apprehensive at the same time.

I'm not big on horror games but if it's got a good story I'm game.

it is, but i think it's being re-worked for ps4, that's why sony has to file another trademark.

last time sony filed trademarks was in april; entwined, bloodborne, guns up; then we got those games announcement at E3, so i think sony ready to re-announce until dawn, maybe at gamescom

@Mr-Kutaragi: Im sure if Sony did a conference at exactly the same time as MS when al this backlash started about DRM on Consoles then both conferences would of been a mirror images of one and another. Sony had time to change their conference and its stance on DRM.

It's good to see companies investing in new IP instead of just third party DLC rights. This doesn't look like my kind of game, but hopefully it does well.

I want a Siren sequel.

New ips are always welcomed.

Since it's Sony, we can conclude it'll be the best game ever and deserves 10/10 hype from this point on... because you know, it's made by Sony.

Hopefully this isn't one of the 6/10 attempts that ends up being a commercial failure for them.

Think I'll wait on more info before commenting one way or the other on how this game will be, but always nice to see new titles being touted.

Looks like it can be crappy or really awesome, haven't figured it out yet, there's definitely potential there. Framerate for the video though left me with the feeling this needs more work for optimization at the very least.

I agree. Siren Blood Curse was a big step up from the original and it had me wanting more. It doesn't look like they think it has much commercial viability, they didn't even bother releasing a disc retail version for the PS3 in North America. And hell, they didn't even bother releasing Forbidden Siren on the PS2 in North America either. At the very least, I wish they'd release Forbidden Siren on the North American PlayStation Store.

I love horror games. Great to see this genre coming back.
