I don't know how to make a poll, so here's the options.

A) SDTV, and I don't plan on going HD\

B) SDTV, but I'm going HD eventually

C) SDTV, going HD soon

D) EDTV, 480p

E) HDTV, w/ component

F) HDTV, w/ HDMI

G) Monitor

Right now I am B, but I might go C soon. Once my parents move, I will be going HD, but that will be in a couple months yet.

Not saying Ps3 ain't half brilliant but would you really rather have 2 of one console than a Ps3 with a Wii or 360 ??

no, obviously. I bought one, the other is a gift. I will get a 360 soon, I'm just waiting for games that interest me, so far its only Ninja Gaiden 2, games like Gears, Mass Effect, Halo 3, etc do not interest me in any way whatsoever. I was hoping Too Human will be good but it flopped. I hope that Ninja Blade game turns out good. I will never buy a Wii, unless its a gift.

LCD and Plasma can both have an image burned into the screen if its kept there for too long.

However, this problem has been largely fixed. The only main problem with plasmas now is that they don't last nearly as long as LCDs or CRTs. They have the highest visual quality, though (although I think there is a new kind of display thats slightly better. Forgot the name however). Personally, I'm fine with an LCD. It'll last longer and the quality difference isn't that noticable to me.

Plasmas are good. They are worth your money. Its just that I tend to leave my TVs and monitors on a lot, so I'd rather have LCD. If you're not as lazy as I am though and actually turn stuff off, plasma is probably the way to go. It'll easily last you three years or more, which is usually how long any TV or monitor is supposed to last nowadays.

Your thinking of OLED, or "Organic Light Emitting Diode." I saw one at The Sony Store and it was only 13 inches lol. They have colour as good as a CRT and are also a quarter-inch thin. I game on a 30 something inch Sony CRT Flatscreen. :)

48" LCD HTDV, outputs 1080p, with HDMI for PS3 and 360 and component cables for Wii and PSP.

I also have a PC monitor in my room.
