Smash Bros 3DS/WiiU Big update event (june 14th)

this sunday.

-finally the application of user made lobbies and tournaments just like in mario kart 8. these were promised at launch.

-possibly lucas release date

-the announcemnet of the most voted character at smash ballot site?

what else could this event hold?

I'm hoping for Roy and Ryu announcements.

i voted for ken...but ill settle for Ryu.

@Heil68: Mewtwo was free for anyone who owned both the 3DS and the Wii U version until a few weeks ago, and Lucas is DLC. Think of it like this, DLC provides a chance for characters who didn't exist when the game was first launched to be in it.

Just like modern Fighting games they are charging for New Characters and Mii outfits.

I think the characters are like $4 per system or $5 for both. (3DS and WiiU)

Costume packs are about $.75 each or $1.15 for dual 3DS/WiiU packs and bundles range from $6-$10.

Interesting that amiibo figures for Mewtwo and Lucas have yet to be announced. Perhaps the event will mention them.

That seems steep. I don't buy any fighting game DLC though so that might be standard?

I wouldn't mind seeing some 3DS stages make it to the Wii U version and vice versa.

They did Announce them. A Release date for them has yet to show up since they still have half the roster to go on amiibo.

@locopatho: yeah and there's no option for individuals like Nintendo offers for Miis on the eShop. It's bundle or nothing for Steam Users of DOA.

I'm not that bad at smash if I do say so myself

Tournament Mode gets a release date, and maybe a new mode for the game? and I bet a Season Pass is announced. Last fighters will be Lucas, Ryu, Wolf, Snake and the fan character.

Why would Snake be in? Doesn't even make sense since there's no Metal Gear on Wii U. Just take his old move set and give it someone else that is or whatever.

I don't think there was a Metal Gear game on the Wii either though.

Kojima planted the seed with Nintendo during the Twin Snake development though.
