@p3anut: I'm picking up Killzone also, but I wasn't sure if that was too many first person shooters, though they do play very different
@lostrib: Shit, that would almost tempt me to get both ... lol ... although I am totally terrified of black friday sometimes because it's just plain madness.
If you don't know the answer to this question, then BF4, AC games have a stupid convoluted plot that you should probably play the previous games to get caught up on, each game assumes you've played and cared to remember the stupid plot and it basically involves some 2012 doomsday CME destruction of earth plot and some ambiguous references to the Illuminati and Masons and shit like that and something about an advanced race of aliens or something silly like that... with luck maybe they'll start making these stand alone games but I'm not holding my breath.
Battlefield 4, but you have to be a team player and willing to communicate with strangers (I'm assuming you don't have friends with BF4 or you wouldn't be asking), and you have to get people to work together with you to coordinate a strategy as a squad. And some people have comfort issues using their mic and speaking to people online, don't bother playing BF4 if you're one of those people; 'cause again communication is crucial.
Comparing these two games is ridiculous. Your decision only need to rely on this single question: Do you want to play multiplayer, or do you want to play singleplayer? If you answer multiplayer, go for BF4, if singleplayer, go for AC IV.
@lamprey263: You don't need to have played the previous games to play AC IV. The convoluted mess of a modern plotline no longer plays a major role, and even that gets a fresh start here. AC IV's past story happens before AC III, so you don't need to have played that for the past story either. (The AC games prior to that have no connection to AC IV)
@XxR3m1xInHDn3D: I actually am getting Knack. lol. I'm trying to narrow it down to three games I think. Killzone, Knack and then one more being BF4 or AC4. I haven't played any of AC4, but I enjoy AC2. I didn't know if AC4 was a lot better or not. I also was wondering if BF4 was basically BF3 with a facelift, which I guess isn't horrible. I definitely have more fun in there doing multiplayer than in the Killzone games (which I'm more getting for the campaign.)
@lamprey263:Nobody talks to anyone on Battlefield 3 for PS3. I've been playing that because I got it free from PS3 and have enjoyed that. I've been getting into AC also very recently because I got AC2 free for 360. I guess I know what to expect from both to some degree. I never really talk to anyone in any multiplayer game and I still manage to have fun.
BF4. Are you talking next gen? Cause BF4 = 64 players online on PS4 and Xbox One. ACIV is just the same sh*t different day.
And BF4 is somehow not the same shit as BF3?

I don't know about anyone else but 64 players on a Console when it comes to a BF game is a big deal to me. I've played the PC version a little here and there but, frankly, it just never catches like gaming on a Console for me. So, no, it's not the same thing for me at least. I think a lot of console players feel the same. I have played ACIV. I can play ACIII and get near the same experience.

Oh, right. Console versions of BF3 didn't have 64 player battles. As for AC III and AC IV, I can't personally comment since I haven't played AC IV, but the gameplay videos I've seen alone have things that AC III doesn't have. Even without playing, I can tell that saying AC III gives near the same experience as AC IV is just an ignorant statement.
Either way, none of that is relevant, since it all boils down to whether OP wants an SP game or an MP game. ACIV is SP focused, and BF4 is MP focused.
If you like all AC games then go with AC IV. Also I've heard it's almost as good as AC II and miles better than the shite that was AC III so that's good
If you like MP shooters then go with BF4 as it's one of the best around and the PS4 version is said to look just as good as the PC version while running at 60fps so that's a huge win for it
At the end of the day WE can't choose for you. It's all down to what you like more in your games, if you're getting Killzone SF for PS4 already then maybe go with AC IV for more variety? I have no idea
Definitely not Battlefield.
Quiet you.
No, you.
Go play COD Ghosts noob
Battlefield is for noobs. CoD is for pros.
