SE: Next generation Final Fantasy reveal at E3

YES!!!!!

What could this be? Versus XIII renamed to FF15? or a whole new FF game?? will this be a PS4 exclusive? share your thoughts!

Square Enix will be showin a lot of games this E3 along side other secret games.

I've all but forgotten about this game and SE as a developer. SE has published some great games this gen, but out of Japan they've brought us almost nothing. 

However they do still have a chance to wow me, since it's a new gen. It's a new slate. However it will be hard to care if it's just a hype/trailer without some actual gameplay, like an actual game that is making progress.  Maybe even a release date confirmed at some point in 2014, but I severely doubt there's even a chance of that. Although personally I think that is about the only way to really make people care. To FINALLY have an awesome game to show and be like, 1Q 2014 confirmed. They should hide in shame and keep working until this game has finally reached that stage where it can have a definite release. 

um, please don't be a renaming of Versus XIII. That game has always looked awful. Keep Kingdom Heart's ****ty combat system out of Final Fantasy. oh, I'd also like to add that the character design in Versus is horrendous. It's like someone gave a bunch of ADD inflicted scene kids a bunch of art supplies and asked them to design characters for a new FF game. AAllxxjjnn

Compared to the artstyle and character designs in the FF XIII that was actually released? Versus XIII was godly. However now that game is dead to me. Hopefully whatever they have now is totally revamped. Don't care what it's called. I'd actually rather they did some dark/futuristic RPG that was NOT titled Final Fantasy. I am tired of sequels, and Final Fantasy is like the ultimate offender. They did their best to pretty much kill the Final Fantasy brand anyway, so they should be able to call this next game whatever they want.

heres my question, what is square going to do different this gen from last one? they better explain that first at E3.

All I care about from SE is a sequel to The World Ends With You on 3DS.

Though, FF games always look really pretty, so I'll keep an eye out for it.

To quote Jontron, I eagerly anticipate the reveal of "several metrosexual jonas brothers" to follow on another melodramatic nonsensical journey.

Would love a return to Ivalice. One of the best game worlds to date.
