I noticed that a lot of people have HDTV's now, and I'm still gaming on an SDTV. It's just that HD TV's are wayy too expensive for me right now, unless I buy like a 19' inch, but I'd rather have a 23' or higher.

Which TV do YOU game on? (Post pics if you like)

SDTV. It doesn't bother me too much, except the impossible-to-read text (I'm looking at you Dead Rising).

720p Projector or my computer monitor, but eventually I'll get a real HD TV since prices are just a little too high for what you get.

SDTV.

HDTV is better but not worth the price right now. And it's not like SDTV looks like crap. It doesn the job fine.

Don't say I'm saying this cuz I'm a Wii fan. Been thinking this for a long time.

Agreed. Are there ANY HD upscalers for the last-gen consoles, because I am not finding any. I'm trying to play RE4 on my HDTV, and it is as blurry as hell, not to mention stretched.

For now a 56" Samsung DLP 480i-1080i HDTV, but after buying a Wii I'm thinking of switching over to my 26" Samsung 1080p LCD because RE4 looks fugly.

more people play on an sdtv in general, hdtv is too expensive

you should wait a year or two before plunking down the cash for hd, cuz the gov, hasnt mandated it yet, when they do, the hdtv will drop in price significantly

30" panasonic LCD(The one that MS first used to show off the 360), Upgrading to a 42" 1080p Sony Bravia after I get a PS3.

I will never go back to SD cause all I will see are squares.(Turn your PC monitor resolution down to 800x600 to see what I'm talking about.)

I only have a TV capable of a 480p resolution, although games still look sharp.

My father bought a 52'' 1080p TV, but its too much of a hassle to repeatedly transport my 360 from room to room.

how is hdtv not worth the price now? In two years you sdtv will be obsolete... What store carries sdtv 20"+ now a days? Today you can find 30+ inch hdtvs for under a grand... SO how is the price not worth it now??? The price has dropped drastically on hdtv's My dad bought a HIGH end 50" pioner elite plasma for 3 grand. 3 years ago that tv would be around 15 grand.

A panasonic viera lcd 32in, I think it was 32 anyway, dont remember, but for some reason my parents bought a newer viera and gave me the 32 one. They have a Plasma version with 1080p and surround sound for £100 pounds more. 37in I think. £2300 worth of tv and speaker, yet my window needs replacing, and a few others around the house, stupid really, but I think they gave me the tv because I turned 18, though I would rather have had the money for Uni but whatever.

How does it impact gaming for me?A lot. It makes games more clear and immersive, and more detailed, and panned over a bigger screen.

SD. I won't need to upgrade to HD for a while. I could never afford all the things that go along with it. SD resolutions for consoles are fine with me.

how is 600 dollars too much for a panasonic hdtv? DO you know how much those things were couple of years ago? Are you that old grandmother type that comes into radioshack for her 10 inch portable tv for 40 bucks? Jesus, i work at radio shack and all i have to do is save up ONE paycheck for one.... get a job and it becomes affordable.

I'm struggling paying for my car right now. Paying more than 500$ for any sort of TV isn't reasonable. And a TV that cost a thousand but costed the triple years ago don't matter to me. Why? Cuz you still have to pay a thousand to get it. I'm not a grandmother type (made me lol btw) but man I careful with my hard earned money. My SDTV is doing the job fine to me. Why the F would I want to pay that much for an upgrade if I'm already sastified with what I have now? Makes no sense at all. So to me, a HDTV is not worth it right now. That's it. That's all. People have different value opinions on different things, ya know.
