I just bought Saints Row 4 for $4.99 on Steam. Doesn't drop below 60fps in 1080p. I will not be paying full price for a "remastered" version.

It costs three times more on consoles than on PC.

Comes with all the DLC though, any plans for a PC release? Or at least an option to get all the DLC for cheap.

SR 1 and 2 were awesome but it has gone downhill from there. 3 was alright but 4 was just bad.

I actually beat The Third yesterday and bought SR4 GOTC Edition last week. Love me some crazy whacky stuff.

I think the team just didint want it to be another GTA. So instead of the super serious it goes for the super crazy.

saints row 2 was the best one by far. the third one wasn't that good and the fourth one was decent. I wish they would go back to sr2 style of gameplay

Nope. Deep Silver said that the Re-Elected edition "brings the visuals closer in line to the PC version", so a PC release seems pointless. Plus the GOTC edition is $7.49 now on Steam.

Series lost interest for me in SR2. I disliked the fact the story drifted soooooo rapidly from reality. SR1 had a decent story. SR2 was the perfect balance of whacky and serious withgood storytelling. SR3 had me going "dafuq:-\" SR4 made me lose hope of us ever getting Dex back.

It still bottles the mind of how the series went from being a game about street gangs wanting control of a city in a realistic setting to now about fighting aliens and demons using magic powers. I wonder what Saints Row V will be like.

SR IV was a pretty fun game but this "new version, I dunno. Why do the graphics look like... like this?! It's downright embarrassing.
