At first I rolled my eyes thinking "So what"... but towards the end [when Kratos slices the guy's head off]... the similarities get a little harder to ignore.
Well worth a buy in my opinion. Three whole hours of gameplay is great and means the story will be fast paced and not drag on. Plus the game just looks so fantastic and looks a pleasure to play. Button prompts and QTE's means I won't have to do anything except mash a few buttons so I am all for the easy gameplay path.
Ryse is truly magical. I have a feeling God of War will pale in comparison.
Ryse scenes look more 300'ish. Plus, if cutscenes from both games were unedited then that would be pretty bad, but if they were each edited to match then the comparison does't hold water.
