Red Dead + Alan Wake released same day. Which will you play 1st?

I'm leaning towards trying Read Dead Redemtion 1st, myself. Guess I'm a sucker for open world games. What about you? Are you planning on getting both on the same day? If so, which one will you play first?

Definitely Red Dead Redemption. That game could very well be god tier if it delivers on all its promises.

Definitely Red Dead Redemption. That game could very well be god tier if it delivers on all its promises.

Im just gonna rent AW, but im buying RDR. it looks to have a little more replay value if the multiplayer is as good as advertised

In the UK they come out a week apart (Alan Wake on Friday 14th and Red Dead on Friday 21st) so I will be playing them in that order. Then Alpha Protocol the following week. Gonna be a great month.

Im just gonna rent AW, but im buying RDR. it looks to have a little more replay value if the multiplayer is as good as advertised

AW-Yes, I will buy this close to release date.

RDR-I am still not sure about this game. The latest preview on GS of a "very late build" of the game stated that it still had some technical issues. Maybe they (R*) will get these ironed out in a month. Or, the game will mirror its predecessor: ambitious scope with a number of annoying technical glitches that hamper gameplay.

Right now, for me, AW is the safer bet.
