No. If Apple wanted to get into games then they would try to buy Nintendo in which it has been rumored multiple times. I would believe it considering the DS Lite and Wii are heavily influence in design by Apple.
Why do people think that Apple can buy out Nintendo? No, they can't. Nintenod has existed for over 100 years (1889 to be exact) and is doing remarkably well now. There is no way Aplle can buy them. If Apple is going to get into the console business then they will either do it alone or buy out Sega.

its would be like the wii, but with a normal controller and over priced....lol and play no games, but have an awsome multi-media function for movies and music.
A forth console would just be pointless. What could it possibly do that the 360 / Wii haven't already done. And developers are not going to bother making exclusives or multiplats for it. When they've already got 3 consoles to work with.

It would have underpowered hardware, little Third-party support, no exclusive games to speak of, and would cost 1000$ more than it's competitors. However, it would come in a nice sleek white case, and everyone would say "it looks so pretty".

Underpowered hardware? I think you're confusing it with the poorly designed software that inhabits all of the world's PC's. Vista runs much more smoothly on a Mac than it does on a PC. How does that work?
