Psnid name change question for anyone who can answer

Been thinking about doing it more and more lately as I've had my current id since the early ps3 days....and its pretty cringeworthy now that I'm older. Anybody have any serious issues with the name change? Horror stories? Success stories? I just want to know what I'd be in store for

I had no problem. Sony has put together a list of known issues and affected games, but I’ve not encountered any account-threatening bugs or complications.

You can always freely swap it back, from what I recall.

I changed mine when it first came out and never had any issues. You should be fine.
