[QUOTE="emgesp"] Nintendo is so stubborn, they just can't see the forest for the trees. This thing was DOA from the start. A $50 price drop and an HD remake is not going to get this console off of life support.
Remember when Pikmin 3 was going to save the Wii U? Â Nope
Then it was the WF101. Â Nope
Now it's going to be the HD bundle and price drop. Â Nope
Oh wait, but Super Mario Cat Suit and Donkey Kong U is coming out later this year, surely these "big hitters" will save the Wii U. Fat chance.
By the time Mario Kart U and Smash Bros arrives the majority will have already lost interest in the failing console.  Those games should have been released already. You don't go 12 months into a new generation without  releasing at least one killer app.Â

What "Majority" are you talking about?
People already have lost interest in the WiiU, and in turn, 3rd Party Developers have lost interest in the WiiU.
Nothing will actually "save" the WiiU unless it gets that one exclusive people go bonkers for and it's not going to happen any time soon. Unless of course somehow 3rd Party actually starts putting their games on the system and stop avoiding it like the plague then maybe some interest would peak, but all focus at this point is on PS4 and Xbox One so WiiU is pretty much in the dust.
You could say this is Nintendo's Fault, though You could also blame everything that's wrong with America on Obama too, but we both know that's not the only reason.
I agree, but my main point was Nintendo needed to launch with at least one killer app and then release some other "big hitters" throughout 2013. Where is the must have Wii U game right now? Pikmin 3, WF101? Yeah, I don't think so. I'm sure the majority of the Wii U install base with purchase Mario Kart U and Smash Bros, but are millions of Nintendo fans really holding out on a Wii U purchase until those games arrive? I highly doubt it.
IMHO, Nintendo should just stick with handhelds. They are no longer relevant when it comes to dedicated home consoles.  The PS4 will have a bigger install base than the Wii U in less than a year of release. Because sticking to one damn platform surely won't kill them, right?
