Right now no game supports 7 controllers, to have that many I think is just pointless, you can get a very nice 1080p vizio 47" for 1,700 forget having 2 tvs, PS3 doesnt get nearly as hot as you may think, mine is running all the time and rarely gets remotely hot, you get to choose if you want a really HQ sound system, etc

 and games for any system cost a lot XD

I'm not a fan of Sony, but how does the PS3 need 7 controllers and 2... not just 1 television sets? Or a surround sound system?

I can just make up stuff that you need for a system to artificially increase its price too.

In the end its 299.99 to play games on the 360, and 599.99 to play games on the PS3... period the end. All other accessories are irrelevant. You need TVs and Games for both systems so that's not a factor.

 you would have to throw in the WiFi adapter, 5 years of Xbox Live, and the HD-DVD Drive

$100 = WiFi

$250 = Xbox Live

$200 = HD-DVD Drive

so add $550 to the price of the 360  if you take the Premium for example because it has a 20 G Hard Drive and the cheaper PS3 has a 20G. 

the 360 will Cost you

$950 

to get the same deal you are getting with the

$500 version of PS3

 so it's not actually a better deal.

though if you just want to play games you can do that on a 360 for $300. 

though you have to a memory card that cost you $40

so it's actually $340

the backwards compatability isn't that good, and you don't get $100 off like you do with the trade in of a PS2 for PS3

so if you are getting a 360 it better be because you liked Microsoft and how many error messages you got using their windows operating system
