Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown 9/10 GS 86 MC

Because the remake was setup to be a failure. They outsourced development to a studio that had no prior experience whatsoever to make a console/PC game to cut costs for a quick "test waters if people are still interested in PoP". I mean how stupid one can be to greenlight such a studio! For f**ks sake at least let a studio server as a support studio for couple of games before handing them such a realtively ambitious thing.

Can't wait to try it, Rayman Legends was better than Tropical Freeze and I will die on that hill.

That's because of the backlash, as it was being developed by Ubisoft's inexperienced India team who basically made it look like a mobile game. But two months ago, they announced it's back in development and that it's being developed by their A-team at Ubisoft Montreal:

Reminds me of Metroid Dread. Probably pick it up in the future.

That seems to be the inspiration. After it sold over 3M on a low budget, Ubisoft thought they could do the same with PoP.

Once again Ubisoft is the publisher with the games I love to play but conducts the business practices I loathe.

That would literally be my last option 😋

But, still...it is nice to have it as an option, and I won't fault anyone for taking advantage of it.

Yeah, honestly I don't like their c-suite antics, but they have a stable of really talented developers that crank out a decent amount of games (though they had a tough 2023, admittedly).

Snowdrop is also one of the best game engines around in my opinion.

The Division 2 is also one of the better GaaS games out there. Might not have all the flash of something like Destiny or whatnot, but the core gameplay loop and fundamentals are great.

Also I thought I was the only one that tried FIST! Hhaha never heard that mentioned on here except for a hype thread before it came out. I don't really like metroidvanias or platformers, but I liked that one.

Why is this publisher so good? They kept coming with the big hitters and kept delaying stinkers like Xdefiant and Skull & Bones, I couldn't applaud them enough for this.

After seeing it for a bit, its actually extremely mediocre, and they're charging $50 for something that should be $20 or maybe $30 tops🤣

Got it downloaded on my Xbox Series X. So pumped to play it this weekend.
